@@VagabondBuilds Yes.. I have CR-V 2021 And I find it sleeker than the new 2023. The dashboard is fully digital and the interior is cleaner. I also hate the new design of the backlights since i hate volvo cars.

Hi! Thanks a lot for this review. One question though... Can you move back sets front and back a few inches to enlarge the hour or leg room? Overall 6'th gen looks much better, than the stepping down. Dashboard is much better, looks booth clean and functional. Happy to see so many buttons, not just touch screen. Certainly I'm in the market for this car.

As for the dashboard.. yes the new one looks nice but I like the old design.. it feels like it was perfected.. the new design wll get better as they have at least 5 years to work on the same design.

Great review! I have watched 7 or 8 videos now and you were a lot more through on the outside for comparison. We just bought a CRV EX L yesterday. I never was in a 2022 model. Having seen videos of the 2022, I am glad we waited. The outside, to me, is more classy in the 2023. I love the new sleek lights and the cool front grill. Also, the dash and gages of the 2022 look old compared to the 2023 (which you did't show). One thing, even the salesman didn't mention was the bump out of this car to help as mud flaps. We were almost going to buy them to put on but decided against it and now I'm really glad we didn't as at least this car has the bump out. So thanks for that.

Recently test drove both. I MUCH preferred the brighter and more open interior of the 2022 model. Additionally, while this may not be a popular opinion, I also preferred the integrated nature of the infotainment screen on the 2022 compared to the 2023, which is somewhat intrusive on top of the dash. The 2022 just seemed more welcoming. The 2023 interior, to me at least, is somewhat cold and severe.

Yes, I myself am not a fan of the protrusion screen. Integrated screens are much nicer (and need more work to build). This screen does not give you any advantage or saves any extra space.

I love the new front other than the missing fog lights. I preferred the rims for the 2022 over the 2023 and I am not a fan of the seat color. Other than that, I love the new look!

I just ordered my 2023 CR-V EXL in Urban grey with black leather day before yesterday. I bought a 22 last may in sonic grey pearl. Was not satisfied at all!! I've had CR-Vs since 2007 all in the EX-L trim. The 23 by far is my favorite!! More sporty and classier look. More bang for the buck!!! My 23 is supposed to be here next week!

Did you ordered hybrid sport Turing? It has full panoramic roof, LED full head up display not like this on review? Or isn’t available this spec in US? As everyone one says that head up display is only half of it and no panoramic sunroof. But in uk version Yvan order plug in hybrid either.

I mean, it all depends what you exactly want. 7 seater comes more room for sure but it is bigger and less convenient when driving in traffic or parking it. But the 5 seater is less room but more convenient on the drive. If you don’t have kids or things constantly in and out of the car then I would say go 5 seater. What is it exactly you’re looking for ?

No rear USB ports for EX trim, no easy rear fold down seat, no fog lights, no led tails, dust trap honeycomb mesh dash, and one real exhaust and one fake exhaust. That's why I got the 2022. And personally, the 2022 interior looks classier and luxurious comparatively.

You didn't compare the inside trunk space for the 2022, which is better. You can drop the seats by using laches, which are easier to reach. Also, the 2022 also folds the seats flat, the 2023 does not. The 2022 also has rear usb slots for backseat passengers, the 2023 does not.

Yes I do believe so. In the top touring hybrid trim you get the Bose premium sound in the 2023 model. Very good premium sound there. For 2023 other trims come with 6 or 8 speakers equipped. We do see a slight upgrade in the 2023 models.

I am really bummed by the new 2023 model. I use my fog lights all the time.I am not crazy for the boxy look of the outside. I hate the tailgate. Just big plain and ugly. I also wonder since in NW Pa. If those tiny mud flaps are enough with as much snow as we get. I have a 2014 CRV. Runs like a charm. I was toying with getting a 2023 until I saw this. Really the only reason I wanted to trade in was for the large screen for using travel maps . And heated seats.But mast of all I wish Honda still made the CRV in a standard transmission. The 2022 is an actual CRV , the 2023 crv & pilot look both the same honda dropped the ball on the '23 designs , and I'll take a 2.4L naturally aspirated any day over a 1.5 turbo adding extra turbo pressure on a smaller engine not a wise idea but it'll make it thru the warranty lol

I just bought the 2023 EXL in Still Night Pearl on Feb 1st, trading in my EXL 2018. I absolutely LOVE the 2023! I didn't have to wait at all, i drove it right off the lot. But I think it was the only one in that color available on the lot up here in the Cleveland area. Other dealerships were telling me I could order one and get it in a couple months. You didn't talk about the most big difference the engine the 2023 gas model comes with15 l turbo, it is not good for the hot climate , that's why I decided not to buy the 2023 crv, I wish it was same as 2022 2 4 naturally aspirated engine .

Conclusión 2022 hacia abajo Honda tiene unos modelos que llaman la atención solo con verlos pasar por la calle, su performance y carabina no pueden dejar de ser desaprcibidos son tan llamativos y muy futuristas y a su vez se ven corpulentos y muy aerodinamicos, pero lo que han sacado 2023 pense que era un KIA, HYUNDAI, no se que marca era pero lleva la marca HONDA, señores de HONDA con el debido respeto que se merecen no la caguen con esos modelos que parecen unas cajas de zapatos, por mas que palabreen y expliquen los detalles de los cambios la primera impresión es la que vale y la pura verdad, disculpen mi groseria pero la estan cagando todita con ese modelo nuevo y ya se daran cuenta con sus ventas en el futuro, nosotros buscamos modelos bonitos, rudos, llamativos, y futuristas no buscamos cajones de cementerio con cuatro ruedas. 1000% 2022 hacia abajo, 0% 2023 hacia arriba a ver si cambian a si cambian a su personal que hacen los modelos porque la verdad se ve bien miserable. VUELVAN A LOS MODELOS 2022 son excelentes y como repito muy impactantes al solo verlos.

In the US the crv doesn’t have a panoramic sunroof or a heads up display.

I don’t like the new Honda models at all. Very plain front, very ugly interior vents, lacks character. At least the back of the civic looks cool. I’ll stick with my 2021 CRV EXL. Excellent relatable, efficient cars overall.
