I think it's cool that BMW leans into the weird concept car design, it certainly stands out on the road which I think is the point. I don't link it at all (the same goes for every new BMW) but some people might. Absolutely not a fan of vibrators being part of the sound system, too, sounds extremely weird.

Hey Paul, can you explain the difference between dual clush and toque convertor gearbox... because some prefer dua clash opposed to your preference.

One uses a dual clutch and the other uses a torque converter. 😅

The tinny sounding doors may be the auto latching door mechanism not liking you trying to close the door in the conventional slightly slamming method. It would be interesting to try gently pulling the door closed so that the auto latch can do its job. Other manufacturers have managed to build auto-latching doors that still sound premium even when pulled closed in the normal way, so a bit of a miss by BMW….

The same reason the first generation Prius looked like a Transformer’s turd, it’s memorable and people talk about it. There will also be people like myself and a couple of friends in my circle who quite like the look. I wish the press car was a more palatable colour though, yeech.

For the $$ would expect it to be in the Model X 0-100 range, I.e sub 3.0sec.. it’s actually the same or a bit slower than a Model Y Performance .. albeit much nicer interior

It’s often down to where the window sits in relation to the rear wheel arch and how deep the window is.

Behind the grille there are sensors. With snow on the grill they would work not 100%. So it is smart to melt the snow :)

@@pastorofmuppets8834 Nothing will happen, this just monitors your attention and the way your head is facing during... Adaptive Cruise Control, I you look forward the system will allow you to have hands off for longer, if your distracted or sleeping it will warn faster. Therefor its for safety and warning the driver from preventing an accident. This system isnt camera based, its prjecting thousends of small dots on your face to monitor, the purple light in this video is caught by the camera...the human eye can't see it. ;)

Pausing after the intro, l love the look but my colourblind brain can’t handle that colour palette. All those things look like grey water pipe. I’d get ripped off and buy a metallic. Hitting play and I’ll be back to edit from here on I still love the interior and hate the rear windows, I’m going to send the head office an email and ask Why? The performance is incredible and I wonder what the tyre wear will be like. Stonking effort by them and I’m liking the future prospects.
