Comprehensive Bob, a lifetime of curating a workshop does take some time to explain :)

Yes it does, I had so much more video I could have included, but tried to keep it short, and even then it came out too long in my opinion.

Quite an extensive range of tools for various jobs there, Bob. I am a wood worker and have a variety of tools for that but dabble in the occasional bit of metal work as well so could relate with many of your tools. I have the Ozito drill as well, bought with the very same story as yours. Still going strong. Cheers😉

Thanks Brett, the Ozito unit was a surprise as to how long it has lasted. It is amazing how well it blasts through concrete. I did not include my wood working tools as the video had got too long in my opinion. My brother is a builder, and as I tell people I was working as his apprentice at about 8 years old (his cashies on the weekend😉), so I have some skills and a bit of woodworking stuff, maybe another time.

5:00 occasionally, i have a client, after I make a repair look simple, quips, "i guess i could have done that!". I reply that "it took years for me to build my colletion if hammers, a hammer for every job, always trust a professional"
@whitedoggarage9 ай бұрын
😃Yep, a lot of people don't realise that there is no such thing as a mutipurpose hammer, even builders usually have a few different weights of claw hammers. They might use one of them almost always, but it is hard to tap in a small nail with a big hammer.

Bob, did you ever do a video on the building of your lift table? It would be good to see.
@whitedoggarage8 ай бұрын
No video on that one, it was madewbefore I thought about amking videos. It would have made a good video too.

Man....I really like seeing this! The stories behind what it takes to tinker! My quest in life is to have a setup that works on the daily like this! What it would take to find a neighbor such as you lol! But for now we have KZbin!

Great looking workshop Bob! Nothing is wasted here! 🔨👍😁 Bob I would like to copy your disclaimer to use under my future videos, would that be ok? Tony
@whitedoggarage9 ай бұрын
No worries Tony, please use it too. I never thought about a disclaimer when I started, and then I was listening to a podcast where the topic of litigation in relation to television and YT stuff was bought up. I thought, okay maybe I need to add a disclaimer. I found a version of mine on line and tailored it to suit.

Thanks a lot Mate, A few people have said in the past about me having one attached to some of my videos 👍 🤣

@@Everythings_Adjustable No worries Tony, alaways a worry as to what our viewers attempt based on our videos.

Good video, does the possum live in the workshop? He looks like he might.
@whitedoggarage8 ай бұрын
Thanks Robert, the possum lives outside, she is actually sleeping above one of the vehicle doors. She, actually probably a predecessor of hers I think, used to live in the workshop, but she was not a good fit. She used to bring friends home and they would party in there andmess things up. So I possum proofed the whole workshop and she sleeps outside. I like possums, and where we live there are lots of them, but they can be a nuisance.😀

Some of your videos feature wood working, but there are no woodworking tools shown in this video. Why not?
@whitedoggarage8 ай бұрын
Thanks for watching the video Robert. You are right, I did not show any woodworking stuff. Basically the video edit was getting a bit too long, and I decided not to mention any woodworking gear, to save time. I might make a separate video in the future about my woodworking gear, so stay tuned 👍👍👍
