With the amount of rain we've had lately I'm surprised you have any jobs like this left :)

Bob, I always clean my glasses with the front of my tee shirt, Maybe that's why I have to replace them so often 🤔🙄😁

Tony, I recently bought a glasses cleaning kit down from the house, to stop me doing exactly that ;-)

I've been thinking about this, In the old days things were always either expensive or hard to get hold of so I used to have just one pair of safety glasses, (they would have to be very scratched / damaged before they got replaced). But nowadays as they are so cheap I keep a pair in every tool box and have spares everywhere, I know what I'm like I will think to myself I only need to do one cut so I won't bother getting my glasses out (done it before will probably do it again), So I have made it easy for myself and have them everywhere, a pair in my Dremmel case, a pair in with my jigsaw etc etc. I don't know what I'm trying to say Bob maybe they are so cheap now I just treat them as disposable but it's useful knowing how to polish out clear plastic, Thanks 👍

@@Everythings_Adjustable That is the reason I had so many to polish, been buying cheap ones instead of restoring the old ones. Those Milwalkie ones I showed, were my most expensive recent pair at about the equivalnet of about 15 UK pounds. They are comfortable to wear all day and do not scratch easily. Probably a good idea to have lots around. When I did my trade, using safety glasses was not common, quite a number of blokes, including yours truely, went off to first aid with stuff in their eyes. Things like safety glasses use has definitely changed for the better.

I bet you wish you had a sewing machine for that leather pouch you made.
