Def not lazy! I call it maturing !!! I’ve been very minimal lately ! I donate all My decor I don’t use to friends and I used to OVERdecorate ! In our family room we do alot of red green and grey/silver bc our furniture and walls are grey! In our kitchen I use lots of gold bc our cabinets are wood so I think the gold brightens the “old” wood cabinets lol I’m with Chance! I love the pine scent year round! I’m patiently waiting to plug in my wallflower bath and body balsam scents ! I’m using up my pecan pumpkin ones now! The house looks beautiful as always !! Nice job!

We have two towels on the stove and the oe to the right is to decorate and the one on the left can be used and are changed even twice a day if needed. Your house looks beautiful and festive!

I loved watching you decorate your home today. Love everything. I am with you on the more neutral colors. It's very classy. Every other year the younger grandkids (6,7) come to Maine so we go all out to decorate for them. It is our year to go to Bermuda so it will be Christmas morning on the beach for us. We are not putting a tree up this year but we will decorate the mantel and shelves, etc. Can't wait to see your new tree. I hope you all have fun decorating it. See you next week! Bye

I took pictures of all the decor from last year so I knew exactly how to decorate it this year. It certainly helps. When I watched this video the first time, I had the phone propped up on the windowsill in the kitchen. Our dishwasher has been broken so what better time to watch than washing dishes.

Amy, I am going through the same thing. I have not drank coffee in months. And we’ve even had cold weather and I just don’t want it. I have had a couple of iced coffees but that’s it. I’m just getting most of my caffeine from cokes. But I am buying the Christmas flavored cake cups so we’ll see. I used to use certain towels for decoration in the kitchen and bathroom, but I finally decided that I wanted to just enjoy using them because it made me feel more special than just using the same grungy ones and looking at the nice ones.

Then I have a everyday towel on our fridge handle. ⛄️ Last year I got rid of all my decorations and tree and started over with a rustic Christmas cabin theme! I love it! Amy I love your house the way you've decorated it this year is simple but elegant and it's beautiful I love it. So our decorations have changed quite a bit over the years and I guess it is true it's because our kids have grown up They have their own lives, their own family with their own children and so now I have grandchildren. So when they come over to visit I still like to have the colors the joy the happiness for the grandkids but I am more simpler now and I have neutrals but I also have color in it for the grandchildren and this year I'm also making a lot of crafts for no special reason I just started making crafts so a lot of my crafts will be going to my family and the grandkids and it's been lots of fun.
