Loved my 300 in 2015… it’s the end of an era. Wish they made it with the Hemi and AWD
@richardmayo5384 Жыл бұрын
They do still offer the 300 with the hemi. The 5.7 is available, and as a send-off, the new 2023 300 C now comes with the same 6.4 liter hemi available in SRT-8s and ScatPacks.

I own a 2022 300 Touring L, and I love it. It's perfect for me, but the overall market has moved on. It's direct competitors died before it did, which is probably why Chrysler didn't bother doubling down on the updates. Your right about what would need to be done to make the 300 competitive in today's market. Essentially it would need to be transformed into a true premium sedan and compete with Lexus, etc.. I wouldn't own one if it did, because I'm not going to spend that much money, but that's where the market is. Most people today who are looking for a big comfortable cruiser, which is luxury-ish, for a reasonable price, buy crossovers, SUV's, or even trucks. That's just how it is. Everything has it's time, and the 300's time is about up. I'll enjoy mine anyway.

The 300 is a reminder of a less ugly era in design language. Modern cars are always one jarring body line away from looking like someone had a stroke while drawing it and then somebody else said "I like it".

I have a 2021 300 S with the 5.7 Hemi and I love it. The fenders give it a wide body look, but integrated and not “tacked on” like the wide body versions of the Charger and Challenger. I never got got tired of this body style, and I had a 2014 300 S before this.

I had a Mustang GT and test drove one of these with the 5.7 Hemi. It was fun to drive. And after seeing the room inside of one these, I decided to trade in my Mustang for a Charger Scat Pack. Too bad the sedans and V-8's are going the way of the Dodo bird. Don't let anyone kid you, the uConnect 4 is the way to go. Avoid the newer 5 version if at all possible. We just picked up a new 2023 Grand Cherokee L Limited with the uConnect5--biggest PITA that ever came down the pike!

I bought a 2012 300C and this 23 model is the exact same inside but with a six cylinder instead of a Hemi V-8. No changes in eleven years and it’s a wonder they can sell any! It’s an afterthought for Stellantis!

I actually really like the 300 but the problem is is Chrysler didn't do enough advertising and the car wasn't updated at all after 2015 but the car was a huge hit in 2011 but ever since 2015 things just went downhill but I think it's the right decision to discontinue it because I think Chrysler is focusing on there minivans and future electric vehicles

I drive a 2014 Chrysler 300S with 104K miles and it still runs beautifully. With that being said I put 1000 dollars down to reserve a 2023 Chrysler 300C because only 2,000 were made in the states and it has a 6.4L Hemi engine that does 0-60 in 4.2 seconds, but I am pretty sure I am backing out of it as MSRP is 55K and I was charged 70,100 dollars and for the insurance hike and gas I will be paying for paying 15K over MSRP just isn't realistic in a market where the overall price of vehicles is dropping. So I will be back in the market for a luxury SUV if anyone has any recommendations.

The RT's and Scats both have their 2015 Interiors and those continue to Sell. Pop Culture made the Dodges more popular, so with the phasing out of Sedans in the world along with the Merger at the sametime, Chrylser just left it to die plan and simple. However I have a 21 Touring L, and that ZF 8 Speed Transmission is incredible and makes it feel a lot more powerful than what its rated at. You can really feel the kick from each shift, yet they're super smooth and predictable.

the first gen of the revamped 300 was released for the 2004 model year and its current gen started for the 2011 model year the original 300 series came out in the 1950s and got its name because it was the first American car to have 300 HP as most cars had 280 HP or less the first American Car to have more than 400 HP was the 1962 Chevrolet Impala SS with 409 HP the base configuration of a 1973 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham for example had 223 HP while for an upcoming example the Corvette E ray has total horsepower of 655 160 from the Electric motor and 495 from the 6.2 L turbo V8 same as is used in the Blackwing Cadillac super sedans except the Blackwing cars have 173 more horsepower due to tuning granted they sell in small numbers even compared to annual Corvette sales for ex in 2022 The Corvette sold 34,510 examples while the Cadillac CT5 series sold around 16,000 which was it's best sales yet granted there's mainstream mid size sedans that out sell its annual sales in any given month for ex last year the Toyota Camry averaged almost 25,000 per month granted there's more variants of the Camry available than there is of the CT5 by about 4x granted the base price of a 2024 Camry LE is 28,000 before destination fee taxes title license registration and options so total price everything included is 36,000 dollars though if you bought it in NH and registered it in mass you'd save the sales tax which on the XSE V6 is almost $3,000 oh and Toyota might be reviving 2 of their classic sports cars the MR2 Spyder and the Celica as hybrids/EVs in the near future

Just needs a thorough redesign, but keep the same solid Mercedes platform, and thoroughly update cosmetics every couple of years . As long as the basic platform continues to feel solid and can offer a variety of drivetrains, it will sell. People care more about how a car looks and feels then how old or new the platform is, this was proven with the Chevy Caprice that was made for decades, the Ford LTD, Volvo, Jag and countless truck platforms. Most customers simply don't care about things like how old a clap for me as long as it looks and feels good, just keep its looks and styles modern and offer variations like coops and you could sell it for another decade + And nothing ever stays in style or fashion forever, people never could have dreamt that the coupe, four-door sedan and the minivan would essentially become extinct and the same will happen to SUVs and there will be a car revival. Chrysler would be in the perfect place to sell a lot!
@djplonghead5403 Жыл бұрын
It won’t really sell except from the people who stick to it. Everyone else wants SUV’s which is annoying…

@@djplonghead5403 that is just right now, in the history of the automotive industry no trend has stayed forever, and the SUV trend will end also. The algorithm smiles on sub-10min videos because on the vast majority of KZbin channels that are the category of videos that get the most views.
