Great review, thanks. The 2023 strut is reinforced below the middle handle connector. I hope this solves the strut rupture issue the 2022 had. Mine ripped apart in the middle of the lake 😂 it got replaced without discussion with the 2023. Thought this could be useful info...

When in doubt, go with the longer one and you can tie it in a knot or wrap it around the leash cuff to customize the length. -Tucker

Hi Tucker, Thanks for your awsome reviews. What Wings sizes (Unit 2023) do you recommend for more or less light wind conditions and ~80kg. I think I go with the 5.5 and for windyer days the 4.0. Do you like the idea????

Yes, that would do well down to about 12-13kn. If you want to go lower, the 6/4.5m combo is a popular one as well. -Tucker

Has the weak spot in the V2 between the handles been improved in the V3? I have read that some people had issues with rupturing the whole strut. I am thinking about buying a v2 or v3 but i'm not sure it's smart to buy a V2 although i can get it for a good price.

Hey Rick, We've sold a ton of V2s and I've only seen that issue once. In that case, it was quickly replaced by the Duotone warranty team. I wouldn't stress about buying a V2. -Tucker

Just got a quiver of them so that might happen. Mostly, the d/lab is just stiffer and a little lighter. Better for heavy riders, overpowered riding, and people who put a lot of hours on their gear and need more durability. -Tucker
