​@jhoe1upGuy funny you mention that when I just saw a video here on YT where they did multiple rolling and from a dig drag races of a 2000 c5 vette vs the gr corolla. The corolla won every time. The corolla also stopped in almost half the distance of the vette. You may want to look into your facts there

The exhaust sound doesn't change by drive mode on the GRC. The drive mode doesn't affect the noise. Only throttle response, AC and steering feedback.

I would take the GRC cause i live in crappy weather 9months of the time. But GRC is marked up and hard to find. Wish it was like back in 2006 when i bought a evo 9 SE for 27k$ and they had availability.

Type R is better obviously. No hand rest alone is enough, since most people rarely will take them to track if ever especially if their only daily. Type R on the other side is so long it's like camry k5 and Accord that's way too long for me. Front looks aggressive the rest is mediocre at best. Corrola on the other hand looks great and has awd. To each their own.. If you want long family sedan get civic if you want true hatchback and live in cold environments get corolla

My problem with the civic type R is the shift pattern where reverse is. Then you have a nasty thing called fwd which isn't as fun as a rear wheel drive. I just want a fun hot hatch to enjoy my back roads.

One has oil heating problems while the other's awd system overheats. Just save yourself a little bit more money and get an RS3 or M2.

I've only seen the oil overheating problems on the Dream Automotive Civic. This has some questionable mods that probably contribute.

@yvonjasser umm... 2023 J.D Power dependability study list came out, and BMW was ranked higher than Honda. Meanwhile the Type R still has overheating issues that they enever addressed from the previous model and just got a recall for faulty welds in those back pain causing bucket seats. Enjoy that FWD car bro lolol. 👌
