It’s been 2 whole years since I’ve taken delivery of my 2023 Honda HR-V Sport and it’s about time I do a follow up to my 2 year review.

Nice video. I am considering one. Maybe. I have a 2010 RAV4 V6 which is still fast at 191k miles. I like the Honda reliability, but not sure about the CVT or the slow engine. If you are considering something different, check out a used Passport. For 25-30k you can get a 2-3 year old. Gas mileage isn’t great granted, but they are comfortable and lots of space, and have that smooth v6.

Honestly might consider the new Passport if anything since that is still getting the V6 NA which is reliable!

It comes out next year so maybe by then it could be better. I heard spring summer time. Not sure. I am looking at the new 4Runner though

Did you consider the Civic Hatchback at all? What do you think the benefits are of going with the HR-V?

I actually did consider the Civic Hatch. The issue was at the time of purchase the Chip Shortages was still going on. The biggest benefit is that you can get AWD on the HR-V but not the Civic which is quite strange given that they both use the same chassis. Another benefit is the added ground clearance that this offers over the civic. With floods happening more and more it’s better to get an SUV.

Hi, I notice the loud vibration on my 2023 Honda Hrv sport when idling at a light and when going in reverse and my dealer told me that it’s normal. Do you get that too? Please let me know and I totally like your review on the Hrv Thank you!

While idling at a light no loud sounds. It’s only under hard acceleration.

Oh really? My dealer told me that all of the Hondas make the noise that I’m talking about due to the High Pressure fuel pump. Maybe yours does it but you haven’t noticed it. I’m very picky about noises inside my car.

Do the seat warmers still work?

They still work. It does the same 15 minutes of being at level 3 then it goes down to 2.

Yes I was fortunately able to. I believe it was about 3 times or so. My most recent one was out of pocket though.

No need to be sorry! So in order for it to work you have to wait for the car to notify you that your oil change is due. You can also check the percentage in the left digital screen under maintenance. It has to be 15% to qualify as free Oil change and tire rotation
