Niiiice press car. It looks like a newer LFA. The pointy styling and that huge grille actually work here. It sure doesn't sound like you'd expect a Lexus to sound. Imagine if Lexus really went in on their F line and made an AMG or M competitor. Unfortunately for this glorious engine, the target market is mostly retired people who want a less German Mercedes SL to cruise to the country club. Thus, the CD player. There's not much of a market for big luxury convertibles so it's surprising that Lexus even made this. I wear an analog watch because I find it easy to read at a glance. The angle of the hands and the big indices make it easy to get an approximate time.

Yup. I want in the market for a new car. Had my car washed at the dealer and went in to pee. Saw the car in the show room and fell in love. Convertible on order for about 5 weeks. Trading in my beautiful yellow 2010 Vette🏖️

I remember I first saw one of these at the Nissan dealership I used tobwork for back in 2020. This car was lined up with 5 other extremely premium and fancy cars. One day when I was test driving with the former master tech of that shop we came back to the shop but on that side where those fancy cars are parked at. And I asked him "who's cars are those, I can tell they're not cars being sold, they don't have the window sticker and they're all different brands but very new." He was telling me they belong to the corporate executives. And sadly thise corporate executives aren't very nice people. They never come to speak to the techs, and I think he said they don't even associate with the sales people. All they look at is numbers and call it a day. It's always made me wonder why are such people this way. They think they're above others becuase of pay grade but at the end of the day we are all human. We all bleed red. So yeah idk, these look pretty cool to me and that V8 sounds rockin but because of that, these cars have always left a sour taste in my mouth. At the last shop I was at which my last day was this past Saturday. That week a guy pulled up in a Lamborghini and I expected him to be a complete asshole but he was actually very nice and kind. He actually didn't mind me operating his car despitehe had to teach me how to do so cause it wasn't like a typical car. It showed me that not all people are like those folks I mentioned earlier but at the same time why cant we all be like the guy with the Lamborghini....

You did look ridiculous in that back seat...it's for golf or gym bags! 🤣 The LC actually has 2 batteries...there is one in the front under the plastic cover. The rear battery is a backup and runs some accessories. There is adequate trunk space considering it's a convertible.

What you don't like the most is what you know about the least. Commenting on the infotainment system proves you never read the OWNER'S MANUAL. That's the first thing you SHOULD HAVE DONE. Had you done that, you wouldn't have made such an ignorant statement about the seats. The track pad is there primarily for the driver to run MENU/SETUP and select his or her personal prefs. Next step is to learn VOICE COMMAND. It takes an average person about 15 minutes to master what they need to know. Instead of fumbling and complaining about the track pad, you could have pressed a button on the left side of the steering wheel and then said "show the front seat heat warmer screen". That screen would have appeared in a split second and just like buttons, you could have chosen your desired settings. Then, press RETURN to go back to your previous menu. A good reviewer would have known this and demonstrated this feature to their viewers. You're not really a good reviewer, are you? Using VOICE COMMAND, there isn't much you can't do and your eyes never leave the road. Stupid people who don't ever read "the instructions" are all alike. They think they are smart and everything should be intuitive. Flying a Gulfstream 6 is not intuitive and driving a Lexus LC 500 ISN'T EITHER. Next time, read the friggin' book junior.

The styling, ride quality, and the sound of this amazing V8 will hit your soul. I have had my IS 500 for just over a year and I still feel that way, every. single. time. Heck...I drive 85% of the time with the Mark Levinson off, because the V8 is all the soundtrack I need. Glad you're okay and yay for some good ole fashioned motoring to right the wrongs in the world. 😀
