China car are flooding into our market big time.... its going to give brand H,T,M, and N a hard time...and bring in the cheaper model with 1.5L engine range extender, with 1000km range, this will be good for Malaysia market.

Just read your news release regarding Tesla the cheapest model being Tesla Model Y RWD for RM199,000. Researching on maintenance cost, reliability, ease and accessibility of service, parts and turnaround. Also checking on resale value. For now Tesla has the hype factor to its credit so TCO may be lower than equivalent China brands although most likely e.g. iPhones, are all made in China anyway.

Gimmicks like Tesla's falcon wing doors are a waste of time & money ... slow to open & more to go wrong. The front doors on the Neta look to have the same issues. BTW: How do the back doors open?

@@charlesdegaulle2928 There are no doors that would be "perfect" but these seem to be worse than the usual doors. Combining the fact that the windows wind down and that it's powered, opening the doors seems to expose a rather significant area of the cabin for some time. At least with the conventional side hinged doors you have control over how big of an aperture you need to get in and then close the door quickly.

@@adamafifrowigmailcom The biggest issue I can see with the Model X one again is the huge aperture it has especially on the roof. Rains never fall straight down so the droplets are definitely going into the cabin. Sliding doors would basically be the best option in situations like this but it has to be manual though. You usually cannot control the opening aperture and speed of the motorized ones and they are usually too slow. Yea you can see that I am really annoyed of getting into cars in the rain 😅
