I found your channel summer 2023 and think the project each month is a great idea. I retired April 1 2023 and started retirement with a 3 day retreat. I had a great time despite family health issue at home. I accomplished more than I expected. Seven quilts ( sent to longarmer for quilting) for my two nieces kids, and a queen sized quilt for my brother's 65th birthday tjis year. I have lots of tops and UFOs. I expected to have 12 containers ready by 1/1/24 but entertaining and appointments took center stage. Ready for 2024 quilting, gardening, and home improvement. Thanks for your recap of 2023

Congratulations on finishing your 12 projects. I only found your videos part way through the year but you inspired me to finish several quilts. I had started a quilt a few years ago and boxed it up when we moved house and it stayed in the box. I finished making the blocks and got it completed in time to gift to my friend for her birthday. I had also cut out 3 simple Christmas Quilts (from my stash) in Dec 2022 but didn't make them. They were matching quilts for me, my daughter and my son and his wife. I finished the first one in July and handed it over when my son and daughter in law visited. Whilst making a pieced quilt back for that, I decided to make the other 2 quilt backs at the same time. I then finished my daughter's the following month and finally finished mine in December. In between I made many Project Linus quilts. I have started my list for 2024 and look forward to the next Project of the Month video.

Congratulations! Life is usually a little to bonkers here for me to do a project a month. Besidex the inevitable squirrels, I typically have 3 WIPs at a time: patchwork, quilting, ❤and binding. While my machine is at the spa, I am processing scraps. I look forward to see what's on for 2024!

Wow! Im so impressed with your finishes! I might try and number some WIPs and just use the number you draw to try and finish a few things this year! I did get five larger projects finished, two of which were WIPSs from previous years and three which I started, and finished, in 2023!

Really enjoyed following your projects this year. I spent some time with a friend in December organizing my sewing room and boxed up 87 projects!! So my goal is to pick a number and work on the coordinating project each month in 2024, 2025, 26, etc.

Loved that you set this goal to do 1 unfinished project per month, throughout the year. I would love to do this. Once my sewing space has been moved into its new room (and I organized along the way). Of all your projects, my favourite was your project #6. All the colours worked perfectly and the pink inner border and stacked outer border made it pop. I simply love it ❤
