Ben - get a 402a Tremor package (full digital gauges, directional projector headlights, etc..) to compare. A few things that really sold me on the Tremor... 1. More towing/payload 2. Flat Rear Floor - no hump for the drive train 3. More Torque 4. Better Seats/Comfort 5. Torsen front differential engaged in 4H 6. No power penalty for higher elevation driving

Own a 23 402A 3.5L Tremor and it’s the best truck I’ve owned. Like GM and have had them. Interior is as nice as my 18platinum. That 3.5 is a rocket and the truck rides so nice. Things I like over ZR2: interior as stated already + moonroof, 6 Auxillary switches. The Raptor Torsion front end Diff is always on in 4A or 4H,4Land u can turn easy when it’s engaged too. Wheels/tires look great, dual exhaust is nice and sounds good for V6. Ride quality is great. Payload/towing are better. Overall it is very capable off-road w/ride height 10.9”, bash plates, trail turn assist and torsion diff. It is also great to drive daily and the power/torque is unmatched in stock form. It’s as fast at the Raptor in the 1/4mile @ 13.9sec (car/driver review ).

Got a 402a tremor…I gotta say it’s my favorite vehicle I’ve ever owned. Got a 5.0 in it sounds mean, and accelerates even meaner lol. Zr2 is a good lookin truck tho, can’t beat the bed capacity and towing weight of the temor tho

Both are pretty nice. Great Review. I went with the 2022 F150-Tremor, overall with hauling and mild off-roading along with the far better deal could not pass it up.

I like both trucks, I came from a GMC and wanted to try the Ford. I purchased a 402a Tremor because of the motor and towing capabilities. A simple level to fix the rake issue and I’m happy so far. Don’t think you can go wrong either way! Like to see you do a test once the trucks have 5k on them. See which one pulls better then!

The ZR2 is my choice with the Duramax. I like it that the ZR2 has the front locker, and the suspension is better as well.

I’d still rather have the Tremor but, the 23 5.0. Just seems more practical for daily use, towing, and venturing off the beaten path. Plus I’ve put over 400,000miles on one of those 5.0 engines and the truck still ran like butter but the company auctioned it off in favor of the big transit vans

Just bought a 2023 402a Tremor. The ZR2 looks better body wise imo. But I chose the Tremor based on the twin turbo 3.5 option and because the seats were way more comfortable for all the miles my wife and I will be putting on. Plus a fully loaded Tremor actually costs less so I saved a couple thousand.

I think when you get above that $75k threshold you can afford whatever pretty much. I didn't choose a Raptor because it was too much money lol... I absolutely shopped the Raptor and TRX... I didnt chose it because I tow toys and my boat and needed the capability. Quit saying the Raptor/TRX are the halo trucks... Yeah if I'm a dessert racer but they lack otherwise. Nothing looks more stupid than an overloaded Raptor towing🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 I like BOTH these trucks better. I bought my King Ranch 4x4 loaded. Wheels and 35's 4" BDS suspension with Fox shocks installed 500 miles later and tow my stuff with ease... These desert trucks can keep their mid size towing capability. A freaking tacoma almost tows as much.....

Not really, had a low take rate, Ram/GM did theirs better for the small minority that did want diesel, and it is out performed by the Powerboost in pretty much every way.

So many people online say they will get the 5.0 tremor, but there are so few actually ordered. I like the 3.5 except for the sound, though tremor sounds ok at idle. I imagine the v8 may have better throttle modulation.

I have to stay with Ford I have had a Chevy in Dodge and I have always went back to Ford quality and I will keep my two Ford trucks and my Mustang way better quality and better speed
