Don't over tighten the bolts with an impact or power ratchet, they go from not tight to broken really quickly.

I nearly went this route but didn't care for the deep keel on the Pilot skis. We went with Polaris Pro Floats and Rock front shocks on our 2020 Expedition 900 SE. It handles much better than stock and has plenty of turning authority. I ride fully loaded with a passenger on/off trail and quite a bit of steep/deep mountain terrain.

I have heard that some people like the Polaris Pro Floats on the expeditions. We have had pretty good luck with these ski skins.

Hey. Doug…what make or model can now fit for wheels once you have widen the skis ..ex.Kimpex or roul ski…will they fit or can you make a video on install with wider skins on…Great video Rog

I know the owner of this machine had dual carbides on his Bearcat and liked them. We were out today breaking open one of our trails and the single carbide certainly seemed to be working in the patchy frozen slush that we crossed to get there but that doesn't mean there isn't better out there. Can you put the woodys navigater on with that ski liner?

I'm not familiar with those but if they would fit the original ski, as long as the studs were not too short, they should work.

How does the expedition SWT ride in deep snow now with the wider skis?

This Gen IV isn't my machine but the owner seems very happy with the improvement the ski skins have made. I have wide skis on my XU chassis SWT and love them. The only deep snow issues I had were too soft of suspension with too much cargo on the rack and super soft snow. I lost the extra weight and firmed up the suspension and now my handles great in the deep stuff. The Gen IV takes the good of the XU and improves on it so it is even better in the deep stuff.

Hi doug after you tightened down the nuts For the ski skin install how much bolt protruded on top of The nuts.... I need to know this because I'm also going to add snow trackers and there's. Some extra thickness there as well.

Unfortunately, they do not protrude overly far, maybe 1/4"

These skins came directly from BRP. I do not know if BRP actually makes them of if they have a sub contractor who does the actual manufacturing but they are the factory BRP ski skins.
