The 2 bad bits you mentioned are not actually bad😂 carb and kickstart, carbs allow you to setup the bike with weather and terrain changes, new Ktms seizing in deep sand and cold weather, electric start makes the bike heavier and another thing to go wrong, this bike is 10/10 if your a proper 2/ rider

I honestly haven't had too many issues with carburetors. Once you get them jetted right, they run really well. I ride in central and eastern NC, and there isn't a lot of elevation change, so my carb needs virtually no adjustment.

People forget how well a good carb works. Super responsive and smooth. And the kickstart is not even a drawback. I bumpstart mine 90% of the time and when i do kick it, it starts first kick every single time. In return for the simplicity, you get a bike that handles like nothing else. Ride a 250f back to back with a 250 and the 250f feels like a truck.

Carbs are def underrated in todays world. Im a big fan of yamahas 2 stroke. You keep a spare magneto in a faraday bag, spare gas can and you will always have a ride regardless of nuclear apocalypse, korean emp, or x class solar flare.

Hello, what main jet do you use with FMF, I just built an FMF fatty and shorty, I have a 178 main jet, the spark plug has a good color, I don't know if going to a 180 would be a better idea, thanks in advance

I haven’t changed the jetting. I run whatever the stock jet is on the carb! Also the carb is stock as well!
