Introducing our third Youth of the Year finalist, Alara Rajek! Alara is a senior at Appleton East High School who has been a STAR Scholar for four years. She lives by a personal quote: “If it doesn’t challenge you, it doesn’t change you.” This charismatic, caring youth has been challenging herself as a STAR Scholar for four years-and serving as a passionate advocate for mental health awareness. Alara enjoys running track, painting, photography, and working with youth. By volunteering with Girls on the Run or the mentorship program Juntos, she’s supporting others in ways that have an impact. Alara aspires to become a radiology technologist.
