Too heavy, too expensive and overkill for our roads. Makes sense for western markets. In india its more of a status symbol than a genuine need. 99% of owners go out on weekend breakfast rides on these bikes which are meant to be used for "adventure". Very few people use it for what its made for. Anyway, if you have money to spare, why not. Im very impressed by the weight loss and the 900 looks so much better than their 850.

Headlights to me looks funny😂although it is subjective. I would rather prefer the mighty japanese giant "Honda Africa twin" over this german beast. There is hell lot of electronic feature which makes the bike so very complex & complicated & at the same time sophisticated too. Africa twin's instrument cluster is a touchscreen unit

I'm just getting started on Adv bikes and learning a lot on my 390 Adv but I know now that this is the category of bikes for me. I wish to own this holy grail of adv bikes one day. Also Varun if you get this is Pune then take it to sadashiv peth, laxmi road and dagdusheth 😅 it would look so out of place there and it would be hilarious to see everyones reaction on this large machine.

Test rode a 1300gs. I will not going from my 1250gs to 1300gs. I am 6' 3" . So the bike js smaller and my 34 inseam was tighter. My 1250gs has ovwr 20k km and perhaps has loosened up a bit more. Standing up the rider triangle is smaller . Now i talk about the M1000r naked ..... mind wrapping
