Manuals for life glad some are still being made
@kennyharp412510 ай бұрын
lol everyone likes to say that until it's time to purchase one, then they opt for the Automatic. That's why they're no longer offered in so many models. Back in the Mid 90 as far as I can remember, manuals got to 60 mph faster and got 1-2 mpg better than automatics. Now with the advancement in technology, its the complete opposite, hence people care more about being faster, and 2 more mpg than the driving engagement. Plus, I guess it's hard to operate their cellphones while driving a manual. In October 2022 I purchased my first performance car/muscle car and bought a 22 Challenger Scat Pack 6mt although I know its slower than the automatic. I'd never buy an Automatic performance car....I like the engagement. Heck my 19yr old daughter drives an 08 Civic 5mt.

One of the biggest reasons I went with an 24 A4 Allroad Prestige over the new A6 Allroad is bc of the mix of physical buttons & screens in the B9.5 opposed to all screens. This CT5-V Blackwing is everything a BMW M5 or a AMG GT63 should be but aren't, this and the CT4-V are the only true drivers sports saloons, the M5 and GT63 may be supercar fast, but they're not engaging like a true sports car, my grandma could hustle an M5, it's that easy to drive, this Cadillac is a drivers car, it's like a modern E39 M5, it's a true 4 door sports car, it's very luxurious yet it's super engaging, it takes effort to drive it hard, but it's super fun and rewarding if you know what you're doing.

I've got a ct4 bw (my wife's dd) and I literally am 100% in love with it. As far as I'm concerned that transmission is absolutely the star of the show, the rest of the package does well by not getting in its way. I can appreciate the delphi magnetic shocks but I'm pretty sure I'd prefer a really high end traditionally damped solution personally speaking. That said, I install coilovers on my cars typically, so I'm the guy who hates the softest AND the hardest suspension setting as a matter of course. Either way it's good enough that I'm not thinking of changing anything until things start breaking on their own. I'm also interested in those tires. I'm running 255 rear michelin x-ice this winter because I couldn't find anything in the factory 275 width. I'm eagerly awaiting wider selections in both tires and rims for our car and I hope that's a sign it's incoming. I gotta admit that yellow is a tough one, it reminds me of what vw was using a few years ago for press vehicles, and that's coming from a guy with a smurf_ucker blue ct4.

Plus I think once you get to 400 hp and up you can’t really enjoy that without driving very dangerously or going to the track, floor it for one second and you’re double the speed limit lol. I think the culture around a Cadillac is a bit different than for example a hellcat, I’ve personally seen a lot more dangerous hellcat drivers than dangerous Cadillac drivers.

5:15 - From what I've seen of the '25 refresh photos/videos, those two physical knobs are gone.
