I had the Escalade's brother the '23 GMC Yukon XL Denali Ultimate with the stock 6.2 liter and my drive to CA and back to Tennessee, I couldn't get better than 19.2 with a best of 26mpg over a 50 miles stint. I traded it in on a '23 GMC Yukon XL Denali Ultimate with the 3.0L diesel and I'm in love. I just took a couple thousand mile trip to Maine and back to Tennessee and averaged 27.2 mpg with a best of 43.5 mpg which gives me a fuel range of just under 800 miles per tank. If I wanted fast, I'd drive my wife's Model X Plaid. These GM behemoths are for cruising and comfort. Even fast ones aren't really fast. Cheers!

Not a bad choice to go with the 3.0L Duramax, great little engine right there. I'll stick with my 6.2L in my 19 GMC Sierra Denali Ultimate and it's 18mpg street and 29.8pmg highway. I guess the Yukon XL is just a little heavier.

actually, those screens in the escalade are 4K OLED screens, the first car ever to have OLED screens

Absolutely. The exhaust tone can be moderated. There are different modes if I am not mistaken.

Yeah, that's the loud mode. That's with the baffles open. In comfort mode it closes the bypasses and is nearly as quiet as a standard Escalade.

@@RICARD01if you have it in tour mode you barely even hear the exhaust it’s even quite when you rev it no pops or nothing. There’s even a step below that if you go into my mode and set the exhaust to stealth.

This is crazy nice but I prefer the Escalade Platinum. The Platinum comes with all the options that the V has, minus the supercharger.

As someone who has lived with both the V is WAYYYYY better. It’s got most of the same features sure but it really is night and day difference.

Personally I hate the overrun sound. It sounds like the old popcorn makers to me. It's cool that this vehicle exists for those that like these types of things, but at the price this just doesn't make a lot of sense in my life. For me, I'd rather spend that money on an actual performance car and have a separate SUV for SUV type activities.

@@yamahaguy1732 hopefully not. OLED is overated. In a car you need brightness and l.e.d. panels are what you want not an organic screen that dims overtime and has burnt in static images.

It can self drive & the different colors state when activated, I think.

They only look "lit" as it's recording on video. They aren't lit when you are just simply driving. They are sensors for the Super Cruise semi autonomous driving system. It is amazing and one of the best in the business. When it is activated, the semicircle top the wheel lights up green. Any other time, you don't notice it.
