2024 Calendar Found on Amazon, With a Surprise

I was quite surprised to find this picture in this calendar.
While I was doing a Google Image Search of my car, I got several hits. It turned out that the picture was not taken by me. Unbeknownst to me, the image was being sold/licensed by a 'photo stock' company. If you look carefully at the video, you can spot the stock photo that was used for the calendar.
A calendar manufacturer in Europe bought the license to use the photo and produced the calendar. It was being sold in Europe, and I couldn’t find any in the US. However, I was able to find one outlet that sold and delivered to the US.
Although the delivery cost was about half the total price, I bought it anyway to add to my collection of items related to my car.
At first, I wasn’t sure whether I should be upset or excited that someone was using a picture of my car for profit. I decided to just be happy that the old car is still being recognized nearly 40 years since it was modified to what you see here.
It is a large calendar (59.9cm X 48cm) and it's something you'd buy for the pictures.

I suppose it would depend on whether or not you had the rights to that picture of your car. If you didn't, then you're not really entitled to anything at that point

I had a guy ask me a few questions about my 1968 Mustang at a local cruise in. Nothing unusual. Then he asked if he could take a few pictures of my car, and I replied, 'Sure.' He came back a minute later with a pretty expensive looking camera and took several pictures from different angles. A little unusual in this day of decent cameras on everyone's cell phones. I often wondered if my car ended up on a calendar somewhere.

Yeah, my experiences has been that the photographer would introduce him/herself and said their intent. I had three photographers who took pictures of my car for car magazines ('80s). They all sent me a hardcopy of the magazines, except for one--that magazine went out of business before publishing my car. Why, just last week, a photographer came up to me and wanted to schedule a calendar shoot in the near future. Again he made his intent clear and offered a digital copy of the finished photos.

@frozenburritosnightly8667 Wow, that's great! And it says something about your car as well! My story was from the late 90's. I haven't been that lucky yet to get into a magazine. But I still own my 68' GT/CS. Maybe someday.
