I did want the last year Camaro but now I’m glad I got my 23 2ss 1le with the 6 speed manual. Got the copper free brakes and the data recorder which is awesome. I’ve taken it to the track several times. It seems to get faster every lap where my 21 1ss would start slowing down and getting brake fade. It truly is a beast on the track. I spanked a lot of cars I didn’t think I had a chance against. They even came up to me after asking what I’ve done to the car. When I told them nothing yet they were shocked!

hey guy, Good Looking car!! I am an older gearhead and I have had a 2015 Mustang GT That I did a ton of mods to that does the mile @185. Selling it now for the 2023 Camaro ZL1 that I have been waiting for for a while. I was going to get the ZL1 LE but with "supply chain" issues it wasn't going to happen any time soon. my dealer finally got allocation in May and I should be getting the car in July... stoked. it looks like you hit a home run on the price since these cars are hard to come by. I have some videos on my Mustang but never updated for the last run to 185. I blew third gear and had the tranny replaced. I decided on the Camaro in the beginning of the year and made the order in March. thought I would've had to wait a lot longer but now its almost here. trying to sell the mustang now its a beauty but I've had it for 7 years and i have done everything to it I wanted to. never mind all that, Congrats on your car I will post mine when I get it. Thanks for the video!!! Thanks for all of the info. I believe we mad a great decision getting the 23 although I paid more than you did. paying around 73k with all the ZL1 adds i can get.....

Thanks! Hopefully your Mustang GT sells! Congrats on making the switch over to Chevy LOL. Unfortunately yeah the ZL1 nowadays comes with a very steep price point. However, if you like the car during these times its best to get it and bite the bullet and keep moving.

Yeahhh I totally agree. As much as I like the Camaro, I would choose the Blackwing over the Camaro in this case due to prices. Definitely more bang per buck

I like the look of the Panther. I plan on upgrading my rotors eventually just a high dollar item to obtain right now. It's still some Camaro heads out here that still running our cars. Hate that the Camaro is on its way out. The prices they are charging for these editions are outrageous.

Gonna miss that rapid blue standard ain't too bad but forget that collectors edition. 5 to 15k for some badges and wrap is crazy 😅 maybe if it was faster it would be worth it. I think ima just find a 23 lt1 floating around 🤔

Thats the better buy in my opinion depending on what’s your plans are. If I wasn’t into tracking my car I would get a LT1

@@BLUPRINT1LE yes I doubt I would be on the track maybe a few drag strip runs and canyons but other than that it would be a daily driver. Most likely would upgrade the suspension so I don't see the point of the ss for me. If I did go ss it would be 1ss bcuz I'm not into leather seats.

New subscriber. Can you explain what allocations are again? I’m new to the ordering a car process and may start in August or September.

Allocations are when the dealer has been granted a certain number of vehicles by GM it can build. These are granted to them randomly and not all dealerships get the same amount or if any allocation from GM for a vehicle. For example a Chevy dealership that’s sells mostly trucks will be less likely to get a vehicle for a Camaro because they don’t show profits selling them vs trucks

I told them no, I'll just get the ZL1. It doesn't make sense to spend all that extra money for some paint and what not but no power upgrade.

It's a shame that the pony cars, Mustang, Camaro, Chalenger, etc. Are so out of reach of true car lovers and due to their limited availability can only be bought by Rich people who don't really care about them. They only want them to try to make a profit off of them! I say DO NOT buy Any Camaro, Period! It's sales numbers are down because unfortunately the Camaro is a inferior product compared to Mustang and Chalenger. Let GM know that their corporate and dealer policies are unacceptable! Let GM sit on them until they have NO choice but to rein intheir dealers and lower the msrp to get them into the hands of those of us who really want them to drive and enjoy! Just Saying
