Owned a 2016 V6 Camaro the past few years. Insanely fun car without breaking the bank and looks amazing. The sound at higher speeds is pretty dang good as well. Fun trick I learned is when you drive it in sport mode and really lay on the gas it goes into "Performance Shift Mode" and holy crap the engine roars to life.
@Dounut9189 ай бұрын
just a fyi if you didn't know you hold traction control for 5 seconds and it'll disable stability control then if you have it in automatic you slap the gas to the floor and performance shift will come on it gives better throttle response and it downshift with your breaking

A few years back I rented a V6 Camaro and thought it had a good amount of power. Could break the rear tires loose fairly easily. A couple months ago, I rented a Turbo 4 Camaro and it was pretty quick but just couldn't get past the 4 cylinder sound. Preferred the V6 much more. As for muscle car, it has more Hp than my 70 Nova SS which had 300 stock. I considered it a muscle car back in the day!

I just got a 2023 Camaro V6 1LT with Bose Tech Pkg. Paid just over 30.5k brand new, it is a great car for the money. The speed itself is similar to an Challenger R/T, yes a V8. Look it up if you're doubtful! Visibility sucks, but it makes the car feel special and cozy. Never had any issues with visibility so far, 6k miles on the odometer.

I have a 23' Camaro too. Today I was cruising, sunroof open, I'm stopped at a red light and this 5th Gen Camaro pulls up next to me. I asked if it was a SS, the guy said yes. This guy was waiting to show off as soon as he saw I was a woman. As soon as the light turned green he guns it, nearly loosing control too 😂. An annoyingly loud exhaust, he did all that just to get stopped at the next light. But I he believe he intentionally pulled up next to me because I saw him coming in hot in my rearview mirror, I think he wanted to race 😂. You want race go to the track sir. Gave me a good laugh today. Those guys that be saying "V8s only" are quite comical. Why do you care if someone has the V6 version. I swear those types "car guys" are so unattractive.

@@NoName-ge6wc 😂 cocky guys be doing to much. It's rare to find younger guys that aren't so arrogant. I'm just uncertain, these guys claim that they don't do things to impress women but it low key seems like they are. One day my twin and I were out running errands. She has a '24 Mustang. We get out of our cars. A Dodge charger was parked a couple spaces over. The guy who owned it as soon as he came out of the store and saw us getting out of our cars started fumbling with his keys so could use his remote start. Yes it was loud, annoyingly loud 😑, but I really wonder if my twin and I would have stayed in our cars for a few more seconds if he would even have tried to use the remote start. Then he started to rev the car several times before he backed out the parking space 🙄😒. I'm attracted to guys for their personality and emotional maturity not their eagerness to show off. Sometimes when I'm out with my twin, the most attractive guys we see don't even have flashy cars or they drive a V6 and made smart financial decisions because they don't look tired and their skin looks good. But what you commented is somewhat true, they wrote an article about. I mean if it wasn't partly true then why did they write an article about it in the first place 😂

Honestly I want a camaro either 4 cylinder or V6 just because of the look…nobody makes a car with looks like this, they can’t compete. I also use it as my daily driver though, so I want something fuel efficient and practical, hence the 4 cylinder. I’m sick of there not being any decent looking sedans or coupes that aren’t german made.

I love a good V6. Plenty of power and great gas mileage. Performance exhaust enhances the sound. Adjust the mirrors and visibility is fine. Many have a backup camera, too. 335 horses are nothing to sneeze at.

to me a V6 can be a more fuel conscious muscle car though the Camaro isn't actually a muscle car but a smaller 4 seat 2 door sports coupe/convertible same as the Pontiac Firebird my moms first car was a used 1978 Pontiac firebird Esprit redbird edition and my aunt Dorothy owned a 1982 Camaro Z28 when her and uncle Joe were dating they eloped to Vegas in Dec 1987 and their only child my cousin Joey was born April 6th 1990 uncle Joe drove a Jeep Wrangler at the time while little Joe currently drives his moms old BMW 7 series. our late grandmother had just bought her first Toyota Camry less than 2 mos. before little Joe was born on Presidents day 1990 exterior dark red Pearl/interior Charcoal Grey premium cloth she would have that car for 14 years and 130,000 miles and then we bought her her 2nd Camry a 2005 LE model on Nov 30 2004 exterior sand pearl beige/interior fawn tan premium cloth which only has about 30,000 miles on it now my brother has had the car since 2016 when grandma gave up her license for medical reasons aged 83

Not a bad car but, depending on how you spec it out brand new fully loaded 3lt convertible with pretty much every option on it (mostly cosmetics,)it’s over 55k. For that price, you can get the v8 or get the new mustang gt and that car is updated and has more tech. But some advantages with this v6 is cost of maintenance will be cheaper: and the v6 takes regular gas which is a huge price savings. On paper the v6 should have no issues and last over 150k miles or more with no major issues and cheaper maintenance vs the v8. V6 engine is much easier to work on. So it just comes down to, if you are on a budget and want a cool looking sports car but don’t wanna spend a lot of money on gas and maintenance get the v6. Even though, yes fully loaded one and depends on options you put on it you can buy a v8 or a gt but if you are keeping it for the long haul I believe would make up for it and save you money vs other options. Plus most people won’t be able to tell if it’s a v8 when driving it on the road. Plus, if you get a v8 you’re gonna want to speed and that will get you more speeding tickets lol 😂 so you’ll be saving money on that too. Plus insurance would be cheaper too on the v6.

The Camaro isn't really a muscle car anyways...it's more of a sports car than anything else. I love the design of the Camaro's exterior but it's not a muscle car. The interior is very ugly and cheap looking. The RS trim is like the GT trim on a Dodge which is just an R/T without the HEMI engine. I think the RS is like the SS without the V8 to me.
