I think people probably overestimate the amount that the AI contributes and underestimate the amount that the human who writes the prompts contributes. My guess is that the human had a major role in the concept, script, editing, arrangement, composition. I could be wrong, though. You think the AI made the *entire* video from one little initial prompt? I guess it's possible. I'm not that familiar with the current state of AI tools for generating videos. I didn't think AI was that advanced yet, considering that it can barely draw hands correctly.

its still merely sophisticated statistical analysis but the "Dream Logic" quality you are describing is something that is essentially a fundamentally property of neural networks in general, brains and silicon alike. because just like in the dreamscapes that our brains create when we sleep, neural models generate content in a similarly fuzzy manner. heres another example to illustrate my point: at the end of this video, tires start transforming into little cars. its entirely possible the prompt engineer asked for that, its also just as possible the model was simply acting a bit anomalously when given the inputs to produce that particular scene. maybe the training data was lacking or the model's utility function had flaws but unlike a computer program that halts on error, neural models will most often produce _something_ even if its utterly baffling. Overall, this is very much like how our brains construct dreamscapes: everything is fuzzy because neural models operate on statistical distributions of probabilities so it has no concept of "pixels" or "polygons" in the strictest sense and animating a scene requires the model to slowly transform the objects in that scene over time and just like our brains would likely mash up "big tire" and "small car" in a dream, so too would our neural models. I know I seem like I'm killing the magic but really _that is the magic_ the fact that we're leverage the mechanics of our own brain with silicon and we're seeing so many interesting parallels between the networks in our head and our hardware. They are not even arguably alive yet but one day much sooner than later, they will have secrets. And one day they too will have dreams :)
