Our 19 year old granddaughter was killed in an accident in May and I just couldn’t even make myself begin to think about decorating for Christmas (I go all out also) but after watching your video I started to feel a little twinge of excitement. Thank you!

Do what you can ..we buried a daughter one week before her HS graduation in 1997. Have buried two grandsons one born at 20wks and his half brother from SIDS in 2020. It is a process and one whete you have to almost demand of yourself to keep going. Much love stay strong...from central Nebraska...❤

Your mom decorated on a bow reminded me last Christmas when I went to my moms grave and decorated it for Xmas - I hung ornaments on a nearby tree, I sprinkled some new years confetti, and I put a wreath. Just like she’d want. So sad , but we are just doing what fills our heart for them. ❤

Awe... Lauren I love that you have your mom present while you are decorating your trees. I lost my mom in 2013 and still miss her, especially during the holidays. I put her on the piano in our entry (she's usually on my nightstand) surrounded by holloween decor. When my sons asked why, I said because Nana always enjoyed being right in the middle of all the fun and action. Sending you big hug🤗

The trees turned out amazing. My favorite parts of them are the giant gems and the skinny gold swirled ribbon. I also love the plaid. Pepe was so cute.. he literally looked like he was clapping in his excitement for Christmas at 13:49

I went through menopause at 38! My aunt & cousin did, too. My best friend has issues with joint pain , so I will definitely tell her about the saje oil. The trees turned out beautiful. We moved in 2021 into our home and I started with almost nothing so over the years I’ve given myself a small budget each year. My collection is slowly growing. I’m so grateful you showed us how to do the ribbons because I am new to that. I think at the end of season I will see what kind of ribbon goes on sale and probably pick up for next season. This is my first Christmas season following you. Wow, those trees are spectacular. I can't even imagine. Great job. I can't even imagine how much work it'll be to take it all down. Yikes!
