Yes I decorate my bedroom. My mom passed away in 2013 and I always decorated for her for Christmas first before I decorated my house. She had many trees…her beautiful tree(as we called it) was in her dining room and I always decorated with her crystal ornaments. I have purchased an antique champagne tinsel tree and I put all her dining room ornaments on this tree along with antique ornaments I have collected through the years and turned my bedroom into a winter bedroom. It makes me feel like she is still with me.

I've been decorating my bedroom for Christmas since I was a little girl. My dad always bought me a fresh cut tree of my own. He was the one who decorated for holidays as opposed to my mom. Great memories for me. I miss having them around especially for the holidays ❤

Yes, Lauren, I decorate my bedroom as well as the bathrooms. Spent a lot of money last year buying two 5 foot windowpane wall mirrors to use in my bedroom after I saw a video where they were hung above the two bedside tables with Christmas wreathes on them. It was so beautiful I HAD to copy the idea. The mirrors reflect the soft light from the bedside lamps and make the bedroom look so cozy and warm. I love the use of plaid in your bedroom decor. That is my decor theme this year as well. It all started with some beautiful plaid napkins I found at Hobby Lobby a few weeks ago. I love them! Enjoyed the video as usual, especially sweet little PePe helping you strip the bed sheets….❤️

Beautiful bedroom Christmas decorations, great job. I do put a little Christmas in our bedroom but not a tree. We have a lot smaller home and i concentrate on the living room kitchen dining room two bathrooms for mostly when company comes I want them to see the decorations around the main rooms. Omg your bedroom is gorgeous Lauren! You do such a beautiful job of decorating everything and just make it all look so effortless, when I must've deconstructed my tree decor 5 times! I love the tree next to the mirror with the luscious garland on top. Chef's kiss! I too toned down a bit this year. I decorate with neutrals of ivory, taupe, brown and gold in my bedroom-ensuite and guest bath. I decorate my kitchen with a gingerbread man theme (still neutral since it's attached to my livingroom) with minor pops of red and decorate my livingroom with taupe, copper, golds and browns to compliment a large canvas print over the sofa, but my office is Santa's and red all the way baby! 😉🎄🎅

I've been hanging garlands from my crutain or the pole rather for 3 years i believe. I only use a very simple non wired little one and wrap it around the pole and to add that little extra holiday spirit I usually hang candy canes from it afterwards and i just love it everytime. it adds a nice christmas-y vibe to the windows without being too much. so i might not do an over the top garland (like the ones from your staircase, they are gorgous but would probably be too much for this space) and test out whether you like it or not. you can use the garland elsewhere if you don't.

I put garland above my windows, I do a simple pine light weight wired garland and wrap my own string of lights around it. Then using zip ties I make a loose loop, one on both ends and one on the middle. Then I loop a zip tie around the garland on the ends and center and close that around the loop on the curtain rods to make like a two chain link if that makes sense. Then I use the classic flocked red bows with the twist ties on the back and secure one on each end and one on the middle right where the garland is attached with zip ties. I'm still able to close my curtains, though it does take a little work. I wish I could reply photos!

I decorate my entire house for Christmas because I have 3 small children still and I want them to feel the joy of being a kid during the holidays. My husband and I both decorate our bedroom as well. We take turns decorating because it makes it easier and faster. The kids all have their own tree in their bedrooms, we put a tree in our formal dining room as well because we use it daily. The only live tree we get is for the living room every year before or after thanksgiving but everything else is pretty much done by then. I’ve gotten into a habit of decorating earlier than I used to because we love it so much and I feel like a few weeks is not enough 😂 sometimes we take a mini vacation out of state around the holidays so o just want to have everything done. We took a huge load of decorations to our storage unit this afternoon (all fall, summer, spring) so we could start decorating the house for Christmas. We live in an older traditional house and we don’t have a garage but we have some great spaces inside. I hope we see snow this year though 😂 your house looks amazing as always ❤
