I love you got rid of the chipped bowls and replaced with two beautiful sets. I am in condo with little storage compared to my home.For me, it's keep, donate or trash. If I have a twinge of keep but no room. I say a prayer " Lord bless soneone with this item.". It is easier let it go freely.

Hi Sophia. Thank you for the motivating video. I am working on a similar project in my office area. Suggestion for the pottery you are trashing. Use it for drainage in your flowerpots. Breaking broken flower pots into shards is one of my favorite gardening tasks. Keep up the good work with your super helpful content.

Hi Miss Sophia! I so enjoy your videos! I always learn new things ! Something I do id like to share with you and others 🦋🦋. At the top of your cupboards way up on top something I do is after I clean the dust, I find that sticky dust comes from the cooking oils and I don't fry very much but it does gathers? After I wash the things I have way up top close to the ceiling, I wrap them in cling wrap and lay on top under the serving platters. The dust is on the plastic wrap and Off my platters and other thing up there ! I still wash them before I use them but you don't really need to as they were protected with the cling wrap!

Same thing happened with a few of Starbucks mugs-I didn’t read that it was hand wash only-not a fan of a mug that can’t go into the dishwasher. Great work as always.

Use to tell my mother-in-law , when she was living, that on our 25th Wedding Anniversary I would like a “shower” to replace things that we had since we were first married.. we have been married 45 years this year and I never did have that “shower”… but I thought it was a good idea.. and like you I did replace the chipped bowls, mugs, glasses .. even old linens.. It certainly is nice to replace with new things as it does freshen things up.. 😊

I have the same kitchen cabinet shelf clips. I ordered replacement ones on Amazon so when I want to change a location of a shelf I use a straight screw driver and just Break the top of the old clip that holds it so tight and then just replace them at the desired new height of shelf 😊

I keep my tall coffee mugs in my bottom cabinet under where I keep my coffee maker. They (just two) takes up a small corner of the front of the cabinet.

I'm the same way as you, I hate to throw away chipped dishes but my mom used to chuck them in trash right away. She would go to flea market and replace them right away.

I replaced chipped things last year and declutterred too, the same with the warped Tupperware that lids didn’t fit well.

Regarding your coffee tumblers (being dealt with next episode) , if they are tall can you lie them down with the end facing out? Then you can slide them out to use. You could even lie them under one of those shelf inserts and put something else on the top.

The fact that the subtitles thinks you are saying "balls" instead of "bowls" is...unfortunate. But hilarious! I need to declutter my chipped stuff - it's been long enough.

Every time you use a chipped bowl or plate, you feel a little bit bad. Multiply that by all the times you reach for those bowls. You deserve to have nice things to make you feel calm and good. And, you mentioned that they aren't the safest. You are right. Chips hold bacteria. And, you were also right, they were made in China so they aren't really from France. Better to surround yourself with fewer items but items that reward you for all your hard work. We appreciate you!

I often declutter to reorganize also. Sometimes decluttering to me means resetting a drawer, shelf or cabinet that has just gotten messy and nothing really needs donated necessarily. It just needs a little Jeuging!! Kudos! 👍💜

Nice job!! I have also been replacing old chipped kitchen items. I really need new plates and bowls, but haven't found the right thing yet. We put our coffee and water tumblers on their side in our cupboards...all on one shelf, they can be set on top of each other too.

Great video! You mentioned the issue with the tumblers. Have you tried the tumbler holders made specifically for storing and organizing them? They come in different sizes and it’s so much easier to access them.
