@MikeCarInfo your video on the Dark Horse has to be the best and most informative video have have watched out of very many. Most of them post and rate the car and they have little clue or idea of what they are doing and what the controls are for and hence they rate some things badly. You on the other hand put most of these top raters to shame with your video. Really love your work and really enjoying this video.

Good review! The gear shift is made out of Titanium. Check with parts the replacement cost! Very expensive!!!! I ordered a Dark Horse many months ago still waiting because of the option for the handling package. The wheels are not mat black but dark gun-medal gray. That’s what my order form says. I recommend that you review what makes the Dark Horse so much better than a GT performance pack car. Thousand dollars+ upgrade in cams and crank from the GT-500 plus the pistons. Thats so you can easily add a Whipple SC Gen 6 3.0 Stage II and the engine can handle the 900+ RWH. Ford engineers worked in the development stage of the Dark Horse with Dustin Whipple and Ford provided the encryption to the ECU/ECM!!! They also provided it to Roush, RTR, & Ford Performance Management!!! That way we can tune to enhance the ECU for the SC. VMP Paxton partnered with Whipple to have the same capability!! I've been thinking about buying a sports car for a while. I'm prejudiced against Fords, always have been, it's just an Australian thing, but every time I look at reviews I find myself coming back to the Mustang. I currently have a Holden (Australian Chevrolet) 5.7l 2002 Ute and it's getting a bit past it, although it has low kms, just the body's getting a bit rough. I liked Z cars when I was younger, owned a 260Z, but the modern ones are too tiny. This is a great review. The modern Mustangs look like quality and have a lot of advanced features.

I got the Recaros on my DarkHorse premium because it said the Heated and Cooled seats were cloth... I regret it nearly every 109° day here in Odessa, TX. but the Recaros do look cool! The Suede contact leather on the Recaro's never get hot enough to make me sweat though, very breathable so they've been alright!

Wonder why your spoiler is missing the Gurney Flap?!

Thanks for pointing that out. The Gurney flap is typically installed by the dealership before delivery to the customer. Either they forgot to install it on this press car or they intentionally left it off for fuel economy and/or noise reduction.

@MikesCarInfo oh no problem, if I'm not mistaken... Gurney Flapping it during anything other than hard Cornering on a circuit going above 89-91mph, it's unnecessary! Especially when you weigh just shy of 4000lbs and are running 6 foot wide Pirelli P-Zero Trofeo's lol.. plus the handling pack leaves you about 2-3/4" to maybe 3" of ground clearance... I think the spoiler looks just lovely without the G-flap! Mine has it but I've yet to track it due to distance and it being my daily driver.. it's more of something pretty to stare at for people to glare at and has become my life's work to keep the fine layer of Odessa, TX. Dust off of the paint lmao 🤣..... ... 🥲... .. 😭😭😭😭😭

@MikesCarInfo my two greatest regrets, (very minor non-issues) I would probably change if I knew better are the seats and my exhaust choice... I've got the Dark Horse Premium which i ordered custom with literally everything you could add, Appearance pack, Handling Pack, etc. Being the DH-P it was all set to show up with Powered heated and Ventilated front seats.. ordered the car in Blue Ember so the Leather every where in the car is Dark Blue with Blue stitching every where.. so they would've been nice.. BUT your boy here saw that the Recaro's still cost 2K more than those seats so I immediately assumed, "more money, more better!" Well the Recaros are great... excellent even, they hug you like a grandma that hasn't seen you in years lol.. BUT in my city it has been 105° + for 5 days straight!!! Those cooled seats would be amazing right now.. I already had a 2024 GT Performance that I traded for the Darkhorse, just needed one to drive while I waited for this car to be ready and those Ventilated seats SUCKED.. so I assumed there would be no difference, my goodness was I wrong! The Darkhorse uses different material and upgraded ventilation in the premium seats that allows for more efficient cooling. Oops 😬 Second issue.. exhaust, This was my big mistake.. I pre-ordered the AWE Unleashed exhaust for when the Dark Horse arrived.. it comes with active exhaust capable/ready from the factory.. BUT, "I DoN'T neEd nO sTUpiD acTiVE exHaUSt!!!" My God.. the neighbors that I've been near and dear to for over 20 years, HATE MY A$$ with a burning passion!!! Those were my two regrets, that I'm *basically* over now.. 🙄 But I would be happier without them!
