Keep in mind this is the least track-capable version of the Dark Horse as well. Unfortunelty the EU cars dont get the handling pack (due to EU pedestrian protection regs) which having driven both, makes a huge difference- The HP cars get better aero, more negative camber, 305/315 width Trofeo RS tires, different chassis tuning for mag ride..etc. The brakes are really amazing. I`m a EU citizen and I love US cars. They are not as refined and polished as the EU counterparts, but bang for the buck ...? I think they do a pretty good job. I thought americans had a better opinion of their rides, because in Europe people tend to look down on them like being inferior for some reason. Especially handling. But that story might had been told in the 1970s and persisted to this day. Although it wasn`t true at all. Motorweek tested Camaro Z28 against Porsche 928 sometime in the 80s and, despite Camaro had some flaws from the factory, it won the fastest lap. One other guy drove a Firebird (fourth gen) as a drift car and said he had never seen anything like it. It handled perfect, was predictable, very solid chassis ... What I`m trying to say is there are lots of great US cars aside from Corvettes and CTSes. But how do you say about that stuff ...? Underrated?

The 3.55 rear gear in the auto would be better suited here. The optional 305 and 315 Trofeos would have made a huge difference as well. That's not even getting into all the standard track upgrades that most do. Considering what that car was shows just how much potential a lightly modified car really has.

mummy it's not faaaiiir 144k in the Netherlands for a Dark Horse.. crazy maybe importing from Luxumburg would cut some costs? 🤔

Good to see the mustang getting some love. I want to see my ‘88 notch back on the Nurburgring! Lol

God dam, the simplest pony mustang darkhorse takes a dump all over, over hyped and ultra expensive uros on their own turf, amazing.

Misha I've seen your channel since years ago, i been wanting a video like this for a new tuned bmw 330i and a jaguar f type R, would be great to see you killing it!!🙌🏽

Unfortunately it costs as much as an m2, doesn't have the track pack and has 50hp less in Europe. I'd buy the us spec version with a track pack any day though.

Look how times have changed: 20 years ago german and european cars in general were the pinnacle of performance and track usability and american cars were just too fat to be nimble around corners and only offered straight line performance. Nowadays american cars started gaining up on that difference and germans are at a crossroads between electric and 2.5 tonnes monsters...

So am I right in saying that this doesn't have the "handling package" that the US guys get being EU spec? Also in the UK we are apparently only getting 457hp because of the emissions crap, does the EU spec get more as he said 500?
@volvo093 ай бұрын
Someone corrected and said it's not 500. Likely due to the exhaust filter and tighter emissions.
@carlospacheco86403 ай бұрын
The EU and UK spec are the same. Only in the US is it 500hp. Ford will never give the rest of the world a better Mustang than here in the states.
@k20ee963 ай бұрын
@@carlospacheco8640 I'm more interested in the handling pack that we don't get rather than the extra power tbh, but I guess all can be rectified with mods :)
@SoundBoy8083 ай бұрын
@@k20ee96 You can get the Steeda Q767 Dark Horse in the UK which will handle better than a handling pack version though

I will MOST CERTAINLY NOT stay tuned for you driving a stinking, garbage automatic! Automatic transmissions are garbage by definition, forever. Have "fun" and good luck with the automatic, bubba!
