I had the privilege of driving an EV Silverado, and it was impressive. It rode even better than a Cadillac-extremely comfortable. Plus, it was really fast; I believe it had over 700 horsepower. Lastly, the sound quality of the speakers was excellent.

Truck looks a lot better than the Silverado EV (I’ve seen them in person) and better than F150 Lightning and Cybertruck I still need to see Ram EV to be sure it looks better than Ram EV tho even they’re pretty much the same as the Ram 1500s

I still have my 2003 Avalanche 1500, that introduced the wonderful midgate feature. What a shame that it was discontinued. I bought it new, and I rarely drive it anymore, but I may never sell it. If it were EV, it would be worthless by now.

I mean your 2003 avalanche is probably close to worthless by now too And what you would save in gas with a GMC Sierra EV justifies the cost largely + a frunk

The midgate is really cool but I wouldn’t be surprised if water penetration comes in somewhere so it’s largely a gimmick unless you’re specifically using it for kayaks / long lumber And they have foldable kayaks now so really no point anymore

It has air suspension so you can adjust the ride height 4 inches AT4 is only 2 inches Also lifting an EV is a BAD IDEA they’re already made videos on the ford lightning how dramatically lifting it or putting a camper shell destroys the range

@Man_in_a_Gucci_Suit At this point I'd never buy an EV truck to save money, it really all about convenience of not needing to stop for fuel with day to day driving, so the extra height won't hurt. To your point though, I could just swap the wheels/tires out if/when a factory version is available.
