Based on my feedback on a 20km testride...engine is butter smooth...but not so smooth to make it dull/lifeless...as for size yes its big but in 15 min,you so comfortable that you'd forget every other bike ever ridden

I owned an Himalayan 411 before. Compared to that bike, what i felt was, this bike is something else. I'll anyday choose this over the 411 if i were supposed to choose a bike from RE but this ain't a complete perfect product. Few things i really like to mention are weight distribution. Taken it to a short but yet tricky offroad, felt more easier than the old himmy, just that we need to be used with the rpm a lil bit. Power delivery is aggressive (not as much as a ktm 390), but didn't fear you like the ktm does. Torque is superb, doesn't need to play around gears that much, but don't think it's like classic 350 after watching some stupid vloggers in instagram launching gear in 6th. So many good things but let me be honest, the bike which i ride had a noise, tappet or shim noise, I don't know, but felt it very bad, that klak klak klak reminded me of my 411 and it's regular visits to SC. Thought of booking this bike but i finally decided to wait for couple of months even if it will priced high, all i want is a stress free ownership. My suggestion to everyone is to wait for couple of months to get proper user review, because it's a RE product, only god knows you'll get a good product or the manufacturing defect product. Thank you strell for putting this video and being honest about the vibration, what you wrote in the video was exactly what i felt. Waiting for you honest review soon. ❤️

Hey Strell, lovely content and smooth riding man! I just wanted to know if you hear a lot of noise coming from the front of the bike at higher revs. Not vibrations, that I understand and can feel but some rattle noise only at high revs post 6k approaching 7-8k rpms. Is that the normal nature of the bike or is something lose on mine ? (No I have not added anything except company crash guard/radiator guard) Nothing seems to be lose but some rattle noise or is it from the number plate which is the only flimsy thing on the bike ? Anyways, nice video man!

Need one advice: I'm looking for a bike for city and highway rides.. in city usage is limited commuting to office and short family trip(wife kid and me). Highway rides either solo or with a pillion No offroading experience till now. Not interested either. Confused in between himalayan 450 vs super meteor 650. Many people are telling that RE has reliability issue. Also, please suggest a good touring bike with good space for pillion and rider.

What would you say is a comfortable cruising speed on this bike? (Not possible cruising speed) For Eg: I can cruise at 95/ 100 with my Pulsar N160 but I can feel my engine getting stressed. So I would say the comfortable cruising speed is 85/ 90 kmph.

Nce video. Could you please answer my questions. I am 44 male in fit condition. Bicycled for life and know how to ride a scooty. Bike would be for first time. Below are my shortlisted candidates. 1. Your verdict on Himalayan 450, Scrambler 400X and Honda NX 500. Which you enjoyed the most while cruising like in this video? 2. Is the difference between Himalayan and NX 500 so much that it would be prudent to pay twice as much considering the fact I am looking for a bike that is literally all the bike one would ever want. I'll be keeping it for long. 3. How intrusive/ disturbing is the noise in Himalayan and Scrambler. My one key decision criteria is a calmer motor for relaxed non chaotic riding. Thanks.
@Quit-r6r4 ай бұрын
Triumph Scrambler 400X Anytime. The fit and finishing, No vibration, You can do all kind of rides. Best seat comfort. The perfect bike i am using. I have classic 350 himalayan 411 and Scrambler 400X.
@zakbond49032 ай бұрын
I have a himalayan 450 and took a test ride on 400X due to a lot of triumph PR push in youtube comments. The fit and finish are better but not like day and night comparison. Vibrations are similar above 90kmph, but I feel like at 80kmph scrambler starts vibrating. If you are riding below 80, most of the time, himalayan is almost vibe free than Scrambler, i would say. But if i had the money, i would definitely go for the refinement of honda with the nx500. It's a twin cylinder, after all. himalayan is like a dual character bike. it's slow and purring below 3500 rpm, and it roars and accelerates rapidly above 3500 rpm. Whereas triumph is a linear power delivery. The dual character helps in city maneuvering, but one downside is heating issues in bumper to bumper traffic. Triumph has the better exhaust note, though.
