I really like the look of the Volvo cx 30, not going to work for us though too small.

The only reason I didn't get the kona is because the charger is in the front and exponentially increases the chance of writing off the car.

at 42 grand for a kona is a no go if they capped at 35 k i would be interested in one

i think the Kona EV (24) is gonna be the best bang for your buck if Hyundai allows the $7500 passthrough. OR you can wait until Jan 1 and get it off immediately without going to the lease option. Great size, decent price, and sweet tech. Niro EV can be bigger if they simply lower the prices. Might as well get a Tesla for that price.

The $7500 on the hood would still only apply to EVs with assembly in the US unfortunately. I agree the Kona is good for the price and the charging is bearable if you had to do the occasional long distance trip.

i think the rules are different for 2024. however its not clear as some are saying it applies to all cars and others say it applies to only those made from us and allies.@@theaverageev

Great video! I’m most interested in the Ex30, but I hear that Volvo’s are really expensive to maintain in the US, in addition to not having the best resale value. I would love to hear your thoughts on that, and if you have gotten the new car yet? Thanks
