I absolutely love my '24 Rogue Platinum. Feels so good inside with the quality materials and is fun to drive. All around sharp, great vehicle so far.

My 2023 Tucson is moved by a 1.6t 4 cylinder engine mated to a 7 speed DCT. I found the 19 inch tires that came with it noisy and on the firm side. So I replaced them with 18 inch tires of a different brand. My Tucson moves satisfyingly fast in Sport Mode, gives me decent MPG, and is now more comfortable and quieter. I have not tested the Rogue and not planning to because we don't get the 1.5 three cylinder turbo in Saudi Arabia. We only get the not so exciting NA 2.5. Enjoyed your review as usual.

The Tucson is desperate need for a refresh. The Rogue is out clashing the Hyundai in design and tech.

I feel like the tucson has always been at the bottom of my list only because of the mpg. I don't know why they are always lacking on that. Everyone else in this class is around 30-35. Which is why I might consider a hybrid tuscon.

I think for the money, I would rather have the Mitsubishi outlander PHEV in the SEL trim.
@KNRS9272 ай бұрын
I'd take the Tucson over the Rogue, but that's just me. I just feel it;s a better value, and nicer. I also would go for the SEL with the option package and that's a nice, satisfying SUV in the 30k range. 40k and 45k is outrageous for a mainstream compact SUV with its base engine. I'd rather get an Outback with the uplevel engine for that money, and that's a sweet car. You also can squeak into an Acura RDX or GV70 too if you want some luxury, or get a Santa Fe or Passport if you want size.

Rogue is a class higher than all other SUVs but just needs an extended warranty for engine.

Would get the Tucson, probably the hybrid power train though.

I drove a Rogue SV for a week as a rental. Very blah and “rubber band” feeling. Weird but rides very well. The Tucson feels sooo much better. Steers with purpose and rides stiffer but very very comfortable. Hyundai all day

I don't notice my 2023 Tucson Limited being loud at all. I traded in a 2021 Subaru Legacy for it and they're about the same as far as road noise and wind no I se goes. The Legacy is known for being quiet. Also, after owning a car with a CVT I'm happy to have a traditional automatic again. As far as the push button transmission selector goes, it took almost no time to get used to it. As far as seating position goes, I wanted a more SUV experience and I wanted to sit higher and have easier entry and exit. It I wanted to sit low I would have kept the Legacy sedan.

It seems the reviewer has already inclination towards Rogue😃. I love the design of Rogue, but Tucson is more practical with Hybrid option, that's a killer..

great review and comparison, as usual. I will say, the one thing I did not hear mentioned... warranty. you can't beat Hyundai there. I might also be a bit concerned about the size of the Nissan's engine... 1.3Turbo. just seems too small. again, great review, I enjoy your presentations very much.

These are both destined to be sub par versus the rav 4 and crv. They simply won’t hold up as well without very stringent maintenance that basically none of their owners will do. Even with that maintenance they will have engine and electrical problems much earlier and the parts like brakes , bearings and electrical components wear faster . Don’t hold their value.

Japanese cars are more reliable than Korean cars. For example every Hyundai cars quality and the materials inside is cheap

This reviewer was biased from the jump… I’ve driven both, and the Nissan drives like it will fall apart before the Lotus paid off. At least with Hyundai, you have a warranty that will outlast the loan. I like car gurus for the reviews, but this guy is my least favorite of all.
