2024 Infiniti QX55: Are Coupe SUVs Dumb?

I’ve owned one for 2 years now. It’s great in snow, it’s zippy, looks good…. That’s about it. The back seat is pretty useless with front passengers. I appreciate it but I’m looking forward to trading it in for an X6 soon.

Cvt is fine as long as you maintenance the unit. But 95% of the people do not which is why they fail.

If Infiniti is considered as a luxury brand, I think the design of Mazda CX-5 is also up to a luxury level. Interior design of this QX55 is outdated, especially the split displays, causing more distraction

The engine is rubbish, too complicated, and cvt transmission, they should use the QX60 engine and transmission, but infiniti is losing grip. Of reality

Coupe SUVs are dumb as hell. Better off with a sports sedan. Practically is essentially non-existent. Only benefit is slight increase in ground clearance for deep snow (though tires make all the difference) and a slight increase in entry/exit height for people with mobility issues.
