At MSRP, it would be a pass for me. But now that there are some price corrections and deep discounts, the JGC is back on my radar. I have a ‘14 Wrangler and aside from a few minor issues, it has been great. The Pentastar has been flawless; I wouldn’t want one in a RAM 1500, but it has enough power for the Wrangler and likely the GC as well. Stellantis’ mistake has been ridiculous pricing, IMO. Now they’ve backed themselves into a corner where that can’t drop the MSRP on new models for risk of alienating previous buyers, but the rebates on the outgoing model years make them more attractive.

So i just took delivery of a grand cherokee L 4x4 Limited… MSRP Window sticker price was 55,472 and delaers asking price was 37,192 and i didnt even bother haggling them… 18k off of the sticker and i got rid of my model y which was terrible and i hated. For reference, i actually really like the jeep but never was actively shopping it because i was always put off by the stigma jeep has with reliability but massive discounts made it a no brainer… i was looking at a pilot or traverse

​@@justinporter6113 Jeep has some of the worst reliability ratings of any automaker today, but some models are considerably better than others. None of the nine Jeep models earns higher than 3 out of 5 stars for reliability. Anything Stellantis makes is garbage.. hire a lemon law lawyer..

I agree. The old one was aggressive, but also curvy, kinda like a sports car. Now it's a shapeless box. Iwas gonna buy a new one this year too. It's just too ugly! Now I have to buy used or find something else. Ughhh

F. This thing is so ugly now. The seats look nice, but they're definitely thinner and shallower, which probably isn't as comfortable. The gear shift turn knob sucks. The dash looks boring bcz alot more things are run through the screen, which can malfunction like the range rover f-ing up your ability to use it entirely. The a/c vents are super tiny and thin now. No navi on this takes you back to 2014. That should be a standard feature at this point. .....i wanted to love this, but fk , t's hideous. Id rather have an old one, or look for something else entirely different.
