I’ve had a 2006 BF 650i, 2009 BF 750, 2012 BF 750. I’ll always have a soft spot for brutes in my heart . Yes they sorely need a chassis /Hp / suspension upgrade but honestly they’re still fantastic bang for the buck machines . I will say however Can Am did a fantastic job on the new Outlander 500/700s. Since the brutes I’ve had a Sportsman 1000, KQ 750, Grizzly 700, and now Outlander XT 1000R. We recently upgraded our boys to a new KQ 400 and Outlander 500. Literally the only thing I can’t give a 10/10 on the new outlander 500 is durability simply cause they’re new and we just don’t know yet . Handling is fantastic and the drivetrain is QUIET like a Japanese machine ! It’s SUPER comfortable and the seat is like a cloud . It’s honestly more comfortable than my 1000R outlander . And they routed everything up in front of the front cowling /instrument panel . They’re impressive . Great video of a classic machine I love Luke .

I will never buy a Kawasaki again, bought a 07 750 spent weeks trying to get to run properly, eventually decided to run it missing and sputtering with bad starting. After 300 kms engine started knocking. Brass in the oil so I tore it down. Mag side crankshaft plain bearing had slide outwards and blocked off the oil passages to the crankshaft, con rods, and rear camshaft. Plain bearing can only be replaced by buying a complete crankcase according to Kawasaki and no way to prevent or monitor if its happening again. Oil system has too many fail points like o rings and the oil to the front cylinder bypasses the oil filter allowing a path of least resistance so front cylinder gets alot of oil and the rest of the engine doesn't get enough. Thats one of 20 reasons I wont be buying anything made by Kawasaki.

Overall, Kawasaki makes a fine machine but they gotta move forward. The only thing they have going for them is a good solid motor and that isn't enough anymore unless you are a Honda. $12K for an LE, with no winch? Luke was right: it needs better suspension, hitch, Diff-lock, and options for LE trim. I don't care for the flat racks because you look limited to where you can mount gun yokes. Which is also why the light pod needs to have its own switch so you can load the front rack.

In your opinion, 2024 Kawasaki Brute Force 750 or 2024 Suzuki Kingquad 750? I love them both.. don’t know which one to buy
@wyattlepage3 ай бұрын
Imo Suzuki has the best fit and finish of all the major brands, and I'd say the KQ is probably ever so slightly more reliable than the BF. That being said, the low end power of the Brute is second to none compared to its Japanese counterparts. The seat and the racks on the BF are bigger, they both have about the same amount of storage with the KQ possibly having slightly more. The KQ has the superior diff lock mechanism but the lever on the BF isn't terrible. Sorry for such a long response lol, honestly they are probably the two most similar quads on the market and you can't go wrong with either but the best advice I could give you is to check them both out and hopefully test drive them. I was almost dead set on getting a 2023 KQ750 but as soon as I test drove the 2023 BF750, I had to get it with the amount of torque it's got alongside the deep exhaust tone. Hope this helps!
