Air GT Owner, and I have to say you did an excellent job reviewing this product. I especially liked that you identified that this is a luxury vehicle with some power. I had to come down on another reviewer of the Air GT for not understanding this simple concept. Reviewers get confused by the power of the car, and assume it should be more of a sports car instead of remembering it is a luxury car with power. Good for you! Overall an excellent video. Good luck

@@codechrist no @jm-gn7hw is right and I am sure has the ability to separate that Elon and Trump are two separate people. I sold all of my Tesla stock a while back and am trying to sell my 2 Tesla's as I write this, but no one is buying any more. Elon seems to have radicalized himself on his own platform which is wild. Elon/Tesla has been problematic for a while: 1. Tesla’s Values are all over the place and this sucks if you are an owner of one or more. You buy one, then Tesla undercuts you. 2. While FSD is OK, Full Self Driving, cost too much and is not really transferable if you purchased the full system and wanted to move it to another car. 3. Firing the super charger team? WTF 4. Service is Terrible 5. Build Quality 6. Delays... Over promise and Under deliver. 7. ETC...

I have a 2022 Tesla model S (dual motor) I got rid of the staggered tires and now have 255/45/19 all around. My record range is now 437 driving 10 mph over all posted speed limit signs. Zero issues in 2 1/2 years except you can’t properly rotate a staggered tire setup so I switched to all same size tires and now I have a slightly quieter smoother more efficient ride. I am happy Lucid is looking more and more competitive. I want to have a range test against my car since Lucid has made a claim of up to 5 miles per kilowatt.

Luicd air at 419 miles of range for 70K. For the 500 to 516 miles of range you'll pay between 90K and 110K. For those of us who prefer a large full size luxury automobile, Lucid' wheel base is 116 ".This i have to admit is the EV i would buy once they become more reasonable in price. I love and prefer a large full size luxury automobile which Tesla doesn't even make. My car is paid off at 41K. Has a wheelbase of 119" to 124" much bigger. I like being up an out and not held up so I'll take the fueling time of 3 minutes My range is 570 miles and more than a pleasure to drive. I also have the rear passenger entertainment package which my wife enjoys when we're on our many long range, long distance travels. I like the Lucid. I would definitely buy one for local destinations eventhough it can be used for long range travels. Difference is. Money i have, time I don't so I'll take the gas. Till the price comes down, I'll keep my Jaguar XJL and simply leave more than well enough alone. Nice Lucid though....

Looks nice - a bit more oriented towards "luxury" than the Model S Plaid. However, I find the Plaid to have MUCH more acceleration than all Lucids except the quarter-million-dollar Sapphire, more usable rear storage space seeing as it's a liftback, better app integration, and the driver assistance (this goes without saying) absolutely blows Lucid out of the water. That being said, the Lucid is a nice option - I'd certainly put it on par with the offerings from BMW, with much more impressive efficiency and range.

C rating of cells doesn't become better because a pack is configured with 800 or 900V configuration. In the end, all EVs are charging all their cells simultaneously, and charging at super high rates to save a few minutes is a false economy, both in terms of stressing your battery, and in terms of thermal losses trying to keep charger and pack from overheating. No glory in charger racing. It's overhyped.

Our 2022 Lucid Air Dream Edition with over 30,000 miles on it is still as quiet and rock solid as a tomb. Our 2021 Model S Plaid had developed squeaks and groans in the rear quarters by 10,000 miles, not to mention a scuffing yoke column and a vibrating outside rearview mirror, both of which had to be replaced.

The Lucid retains many physical controls with which Tesla has long since dispensed: a turn signal stalk, a gear selector stalk, manual air vent adjustments, toggle switches for A/C temp and fan speed, roller switches for audio volume. (Many of these functions are also duplicated on screens or with voice control if you prefer.). Our Lucid Air Dream Edition, with its astute mixture of manual and screen controls, is a considerably easier and more intuitive car to operate than our Tesla Model S Plaid.
