I think the 2020 Mercedes interior was ideal - enough digital screen space to customize your gauges, phone mirror for maps. The steering wheel and center stack still had mostly high quality physical metal switches and buttons. The newest generation German cars feel like a science experiment that went straight into production, without considering what is safe / usable to the average buyer.
