IDK... I put $9k via a Roush Phase 2 727HP supercharger on my 2016 GT (base) for a total investment, including the purchase of the car, of just $39k. With exhaust work, I am at 750HP to the crank. Unless Ford comes out with a similarly equipped and priced Mustang, my 2016 will continue being my beast! 😁

Shouldnt be. The stock computer if its like the gen 3 is going to account for that and change the timing and trims accordingly. Its going to run as Ford wanted it to no matter what they do until they tune it. This is a head scratcher for sure.

The steeda I know and grew up with 30yrs+ would have had steeda everything!! Custome spoiler, custom bumpers, custom rims, serialized sidewinder graphics, steeda windshield banner !! My 2018 performance pack 1 completely stock (everything) ran 11.9@118 Then with long tune headers, jlt intake, drag pack(full weight otherwise) and a tune ran 11.09@125. Now just waiting to get my ess g3 kit($5900) and I should be deep 10s full weight.

I have a 19 gt 10speed. Steeda stop the hope kit, lite k member brace, rear seat delete, carbon fiber trunk and hood, one piece drive shaft and drag pack. No tune I ran a best of 11.29 at 123

60k Mustan GT gutted with 13k in parts and 4k in labor to go 11.2. WHat a massive improvement over the S550. Like day and night. Ford knocked it out the park. Scatpacks without doors leaving those street takovers might be scared to run into a 2024!

I live near Valdosta. I like Steeda. I use their products; however, I prefer an interior. 13-16k for parts, labor, and shipping? No thanks. Speed matters but so does money. I'll hold on to my FI 2019 stop the hop!

I’m surprised the headers picked up 40hp that’s wild, but I guess w dual throttle bodies it makes sense. Got a lot of air going in the engine, gotta have something to help it get out. Haven’t wanted to sell my truck for something ever but y’all have me thinking 👀

The mounting points are different on the 2024s, so seat deletes for the 2015-2023s will not fit the 2024s.

Taking 1.2+ seconds off an N/A engine without changing the gas or ECU at all is actually really impressive. Having the right tire and suspension on that car really makes a difference. Putting it on a diet really helps too.

They threw almost $14,000 in parts at it to take 1.2 seconds off their quarter mile time. That is 14K before shipping and installation so basically probably $18-19K in parts!! 🤯

@@hpkntnw yea, they definitely spent a lot of money. However, that 1.2+ seconds is significant considering it is N/A and still on stock tune with pump gas. It isn’t easy to make more power without changing any of those things.

@@LearningFast Honestly it's good for N/A, if people think it's too much than they can go the cheap route and simply slap a turbo or supercharger on it. This engine is reliable and responds well to boost and won't need new parts as it's already overbuilt to take on mods, a 3-5k turbo or supercharger will get you a 10 sec car easy.

It can be done for a lot cheaper. I have an S550 10-speed. No tune, no headers. A mix of steeda and bmr suspension mods, drag pack, weight reduction with carbon fiber hood, carbon fiber trunk and drive shaft rear seat delete. To date, my best time is 11.29 at 123 with good DA. My car stock off the showroom with the factor tires and around 2,000 miles on the clock went 11.87 at 119 so I had a good strong car to start with. Every car tends to be a little different as I have a few friends same model year with a 10-speed with long tubes , E 85 tuned and I beat them.

These need more rpm. Stock tune has them shifting too early. 10 speeds uneven gearing has them falling well outta power too, especially when there’s more to be had up top.

It's great to see you continue to focus on NA builds, much more challenging to go fast. But man, you've got at least $10k in parts plus an average shmuck like me will have to pay for installation, just to get 11.20's. I gave up on the mod game last year and bought a Kia EV6 GT. It runs 11.31 right off the showroom floor, as fast as my fbo 2021 mustang GT could manage, and at !ess investment, with no loss of comfort, safety, or driveability.

You guys bought a base 24 301a GT for around (MSRP) $45,000 ish put $13,500 worth of parts for augmented sake $60,000 you have a bad ass ride anyone can duplicate that goes 11.22 @ 125 MPH in the quarter mile! I would ask the haters what brand new car can you buy for under $60,000 dollars that will run 11.2 anything? The C8 vette? The new BMW M3-M4 a Porsche anything Mercedes AMG Audi RS anything? Any car that is brand new that can touch an 11.2 is easily $80,000 plus I get you can build a Fox body for $20.000 and go 10,s all day but that is not a brand new car! I get too that (Tuners) Like Alex want to hate because he can’t make any money off the new car rite now! Look at the hate the Supra got when it came out! Not tunable blah blah no 2JZ! There a video on YT of a STOCK POWER Scatpack that ran a 10.9x( in Great DA). Only mods were weight reduction (gutted)and drag pack. So there’s brand new car that is way under $60k that runs 11.2 or better. Just saying 😁

That's the only disappointing thing about the car. I just sold my loaded 18gt performance pack and got a 2024 loaded performance pkg. Both have the 10 speed. I can tell you the 2024 is a far better car in just about every way. Huge improvement in the 10 speed. It's no longer clunky and shift super smooth and doesn't upset the car in turns when it down shifts. The performance numbers aren't everything though I wish they did better there I won't lie

@@konablues5504I don't think gen 3s pick up 40 whp with longtube headers with out a tune. The 24 picked up untuned what a gen 3 does tuned. That already explains that if they did the same set up on a gen 3 it would not be the "same or faster" if the gen 3 was tuned sure it will run the same or faster. But with out a tune it's running slower times 100%. If gen 3s make close to 500 whp on e85 and fbo with a tune then gen 4 with e85 fbo and a tune (when ever that is possible) it's gonna put down potentially a lot more whp.

@@evanderlugops it has no restriction after the headers because it has dumps which helps with whp. Also the carbon fiber driveshaft, lighter brakes and wheels help to transfer more power from the engine to the tires. The headers alone did not picked up 40whp

There's a bit of a gap somewhere. You are knocking on the door of cars with 100 more HP without even a tune. 1 and 1 arent making 2 on this. Not sure what it is. But 20 more HP over a gen3 dont equal a second faster in the 1/4.

Considering a new GT500 cost twice as much as a Mustang GT with over 200 more horsepower. They are building a badass Mustang. Your one of The Hater he mentioned with nothing to support your statement. First it weighs more than a S550. CJ Pony proved that wrong weighing both cars. Then it doesn't product the advertised horsepower. Again proven wrong by Palm Beach Dyno and REVan Evans. They both showed the advertised 500 horsepower at the crank on separate Dark Horses. Do you realize Steeda sells their parts for Mustangs like the S550 and now the S650. If you've ever built a Mustang. You've likely used Steeda. I have a full Steeda suspension under my 1995 Cobra R. I'm guessing you never said anything during their previous Mustang build. It sounds like a quick 40 HP with Kook long tube headers. If seeing the 2024 Mustang running low 11s bother you. Watch something else

Yeah you put a lot of parts on it, but at the end of the day, you did a 11.22 @ 125. Only negative I have to say is, Gurney flap.🥹
