I already had the feeling Briscoe would break out at Gibbs next year, but he's not even waiting that long to show what he's got! This could be the makings of one hell of a Cinderella swan song run. I mean, let's not forget 2022 when he was one restart away from making it to Phoenix, where he had already won that year! (Seriously, that Martinsville final restart may have changed modern NASCAR history in more ways than just the Hail Melon.)

I have a feeling at least 2 of the Penske cars are out this round. They can't all hope to have a good Talladega. I also have Suarez out (seeing how he barely limped in) and I agree, there's going to be a surprise with either Byron or Hamlin getting eliminated this round. Yes Byron won the 500, but I have so many images in my head of the 24 getting dumped down the back stretch at superspeedways. And he's just been too quiet this summer going into the fall. I know he turns it on in the playoffs, but I'm not drinking the cool aid

In terms of Kyle Larson. Let's say he finishes top five in both the Kansas stages and get the top five finish..... Which is very likely, I actually think he should be aggressive at Talladega. Try to get some stage points and then whatever happens, happens. He isn't bad at restrictor-plate races, he just gets caught in a wreck. There have been several times he has run in the top 10 with a few laps to go and get caught in something. That's why I say he needs to be aggressive and go for stage points so if / when he wrecks out he will still be good going into the rowville. The oval is still a toss-up race as we've seen in the past although it has gotten a little bit better

I think the 4-th one being eliminated is Logano or Eliott, Logano is just too weak this season, even this round he didn't really perform outside of Atlanta, if he wrecks at Talladega it's 100% round exit, Elliott is just kinda weaker last few months and don't have a lot of points, I mostly on Logano wil be out, but Elliott still might go out even without DNF I think.
