Hey man just stumbled into your video. I too am a Michigan owner of a frontier pro-4x. Seeing a frontier in Michigan is so rare so it’s cool to see a fellow frontier owner. I live near Grand Rapids and all of my buddies got rangers and f150s so they all joke around me buying a NISSAN! It’s a pretty reliable truck I got 63613 miles as of right now on mine no problems all stock

@@TheCountDook hey there and welcome! Yeah I hear ya on how uncommon they are, especially the 3rd gens. I've only seen maybe 10 in my area since 3rd gen came out. Infact I have the only 3rd gen in my town tho I do occasionally see a green one and red one in passing. My older bro was like "whyd you buy a Nissan? And why a Titan" I was like "it's a Frontier lol" I'm at just over 9500 miles mostly stock save for a few small things and a custom exhaust. I'm up in hillman.

Tell me about it . I am trying to get a dark red 2025 with the leather interior and not the black rims in Michigan and haven't been able.too much of the orange one's.

Hey man, I loved the little cruise out to your spot, very cool. Love all the mods brother, the battery mod I did not know about and will be looking into this one. I really like the grill lights and of course the muffler. Godspeed brother!

Thanks for watching! Just a thing to note tho if you do disable the VVCS. If you have Auto Start/Stop like I do, it will throw a fault for it. Not like a check engine light, but a message will appear on start up you can dismiss and the Start/Stop icon will flash. That's a worthy trade off for having better overall system performance. I've already noticed better performance rolling windows up n down and it seems to crank a bit stronger. Hoping to prolong the life of that Renault-Nissan battery 😂

They're solid trucks. An oil catch can is a great addition. Mine collects so much sludge. I have a 2023 Pro 4x

@@Blue-moon12 yeah a can is on the to do list....if I can't get my upgraded fogs (diode dynamics still has em listed at a 8 week backorder) then I'll get some other things I've been wanting.

@D41Michigan I am wanting to upgrade my third brake light too. Where will you get yours from now?
@D41Michigan25 күн бұрын
@Blue-moon12 I got mine from LasFit on Amazon. I'll do a video on them when I do the upgrade here in a few days. I'm expecting them Sunday/Monday time frame. Always heard pretty good things about LasFit but never used them myself. Should be a good product and significantly brighter then stock. Getting tired of nearly getting rear ended multiple times. Had to dive to the shoulder a few times over the summer.

@D41Michigan25 күн бұрын
@@diegovn nice! When you do the exhaust, I'd avoid the MBRP....it drones way too much. Had a similar sound to the Z1 system but man the drone was wild. My exhaust is a custom setup, you'd have to build it.

They rate fairly high on the various sites for snow.
@D41Michigan25 күн бұрын
@@uploadtime1780 in my experience and many others in the various groups and forums say otherwise, that the wet and snow performance is subpar. These tires only have 10/32nds of tread depth NEW and because of that they get overwhelmed fairly quickly. Pretty much all the good ATs are at least 16/32nds (half inch) of tread depth. In my experience, if it's slush or packed snow (not quite packed into ice) they have terrible forward bite. Few inches of snow they seem okay at best

To further elaborate...I'm aiming for 3in up front and between 2 and 2.75 in the rear on a 33in tire (285/70/17) I'm pretty much set on ADO UCAs, Dobinsons IMS Shocks with either a Dobinsons or ARB 2in lift spring in the rear as a medium duty spring paired with a Z1 spring shackle. And all the supporting hardware and bushings....like new cam bolts (for camber adjustment), U bolts, extended brake lines (crucial up front for 3in+)
