Highly considering buying one of these. I just need a practical daily driver and one of these seems like it would hit the mark.. reliable, great looking, decent size. Not overpriced. Need to go drive one

I’ve driven both extensively. The Sentra is better. I thought the Corolla was closer to the Versa.

I’d have to agree, the corolla is very similar to versa in terms of quality, Sentra is just better

Great review amigo! Which car felt faster off the line, this Sentra or the Corolla? Which car was more fun to drive overall? This Sentra is more spacious and has a nicer interior than the Corolla and yet the Sentra is cheaper than the Corolla!

The car isn’t fast off the line with acceleration it feels that way because of the cvt but if you don’t smash on the gas hard and rav it out the cvt will get you up to speed quickly and keep you within a good power band continuously

Does this vehicle remote start with the mynissan app because when I purchased it, I was told it would remote start up with the app but now it mynissan says it's not compatible with the app to remotely start. I was sooo wanting to not do the air control by going outdoors to manually do it.

@@angelpam4ever yes, you can remote start it with the app, check and see if you have the latest update, or have the dealership troubleshoot the problem, also check the nissan forum for answers. But yes you can unlock, lock, and remote start from the app.

That’s incorrect the interior hasn’t been completely redesigned is the same interior that’s in my 2023 Nissan Sentra SR “ Midnight package. The only difference is because mine is fully loaded it’s got the Orange stitching ok the side of the doors and dashboard. And the only difference in the 24 is the gas mileage has improved and it now has stop start technology, and the front has been redesigned but they no longer include the fog lights and now they offer the full 360 camera system.

It looks almost identical to the 2021. They should change the shape of the infotainment system and add heated seats and steering wheel. I mean we are in 2024 and this is not the basic trim. Also they should add a vent in the backseat

$590 adds the all weather package (it’s included in the premium package) with heated seats, wheel,and mirrors, dual zone climate control and remote start. A loaded SV is like $20443 with the white pearl paint and all weather package right now where I live. That’s an extremely good value….no one put rear vents in $20k economy cars.

reliability of Mexican built JAT CVT is always suspect. Toyota CVT with starter gear is far more reliable. Would consider only if it had a manual transmission which they no longer offer.

Mexico reliability is as good as Japanese craftsmanship Bilstein are built in México nowadays instead of USA A lot of manual transmission are built in Mexico, same with engine Even newer BMW are built in Mexico just like VW and Audi

Tbh I would do the SV upgrade, I mean you get almost BMW level of quality with the quilted leather, miles better than Corolla SE and Civic Sport
