South African here. Our uniforms were too boring. South Africa's amazing cultures of beadwork, bright & bold colours, geometric shapes, eclectic patterns, varied textiles, animal prints and furs textures. Like where was that in representation of South Africa? I can't believe people get paid for most of these crappy clothes. Where was Laduma of Maxhosa, Thebe Magugu, or Rich Mnisi?

Coming here as a Canadian and yr shitting on lululemon literally within the first minute 😭😂 Can't even be mad though, they should have done much better. This actually would've been an amazing opportunity to bounce back from those controversies (if they actually cared what people think or where fashion is moving), but even within the athleisure/apparel space they've become stagnant. With one of the world's best-dressed athletes, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, on the team this year, you'd think they would have tapped into a brand with even a bit of innovation!

Ceremony P2024 looks: 1. Mongolia 2. Haiti 3.Taiwan. Team Kits: 1. Nigeria 2. Liberia 3. Sierra Leone. The fashion designer ceremony outfits need other talent these ceremony looks are too predictable. France=WTF. Another designer needs to take over for Ralph Lauren (and please don't let it be Tommy Hilfiger) too much of the same thing every year and boring. However, I do like the sustainable aspects (cotton grown in the US and garments manufactured in the US). Canada=boring. I used to work in British Columbia and I found some of them overtly racist. My mother, who was born and raised in La Ceiba, Honduras used to say New Orleens from when she moved there as a 29-year-old. But, we never bothered correcting her. She lived there from 1954 until she died in 2009. UK=Boring. I love Boateng! Let him in the next Olympics/ What's up with him these days? Only thing good about the Australian outfit is the ceremony jacket lining (Brilliant idea.) Don't see why they use green it has no association with their flag (Zero recognition.) The pettiness and complaining in w & m US gymnastics is because blacks are dominating it for strength and tech ability. China=Boring. Indian=meh. Sexism wasn't called out for the woman's sari ceremony outfit. I worked with A LOT of Punjabis and Sri Lankans when I lived in London, in fashion. Slow cultures: All Latin Americans Italians, Indians, Nigerians, Chinese take an entire month off for CNY. I used to work fo 5 years in Chadwell Heath as a fitting and showroom model. Italy & Brazil (NIC the flip-flops if they are Havaianas) & S Korea=e-com drop ship. Eqypt=nice, much better than the other RW&Bs. This whole thing about North Africans thinking they aren't Africans is bullshit. Can't they read a map? The fashion brand I worked at in east London had a pattern cutter from Germany, she was awesome. ALL of western Europe has black roots even in their nobility. You can see southern Europeans are mixed race for the most part. When I worked in Germany I worked as a contractor for the US military and had no problem. Some Germans still hate US military presence, can't blame them really. BTW, with the teams coming in on boats, it was hard to see the costumes. Skiing is fun. I only went once. But ski boots are way too wide for my feet, so I can't last long on the slopes. There's pineapple leather, too. Turkey=pjs. The first time I saw your cast was about Turkey (BK jewellery) and their artisanal brands and ethos. Been hooked ever since. Dying to see their home fashions, too. Well done. Someone I know from Turkey living in the US says that Turkish brands aren't allowed to move their brands and conduct business in the US.
