Thank for the splitfire video hope you can make that trip again next year

I just joined the SplitFire family this weekend at the Paul Bunyan show. I purchased the 1165V! I can’t wait to see what it can do. I am far from a “new” firewood guy, but it fit almost every check box I need in a splitter at this time.

Love the Split-Fire Design! Great people to work with and this was a super informative interview. My biggest recommendation is to reach out to them on phone or email and they will help you pick the best machine for your needs.

I’m actually considering the 1165v for my bundle firewood business. Looks like a nice unit. Wish it had a foot pedal rather than that knee thing. Nice job Lucas. God bless.

This is the perfect machine for bundle size wood. I haven’t used a foot control machine before. Not sure which I would like better.

Great video, guys. split fire is awesome Canadian stuff 😀 I used to use one of their first 3pt spliters back in the early 90 Great product. Ps. Lucas, I did make a video on the T224 and post it. It is not very good, but the first big step made 😂

@SplitFireSalesInc you guys make a great product, and even better that it is 100% Canadian made and owned. I am going to look at your vertical spliter. Great for people with bad back and want to split wood
@outdoors-fun3 ай бұрын
Lucas, that 1165v splitter is a nice little unit. However, they added the knee pedal after hundreds of people asked for them to add one. It bothers me that they now sell the knee pedal as an add on at an extra cost (10% more!).. The entire purpose of those vertical splitters is to be able to control the unit with some sort of foot/knee pedal so you can keep working. It should be part of the splitter...
@PeeksPeakHobbyHomestead3 ай бұрын
Yeah, I can see that from both sides. As a small business owner pricing models are tricky. They could make it a part of the total unit price, but one way or another the buyer is going to pay for it so they would likely have to raise the price of the unit. If they sell ANY without the knee control then those customers would be forced to pay more for something they don’t desire. 🤷🏼♂️ I tend to agree that without some type of hands free control it would defeat the purpose of how I would want to use the setup. Good thoughts! Thanks for commenting. 👊

Good Split Fire review, they did not mention if any where electric start? I really like the higher elevation of the bed, at 6 1 bending over is a bad test all the time.
@PeeksPeakHobbyHomestead3 ай бұрын
I don’t think the e-start is an option I've seen on their splitters.
@SplitFireSalesInc3 ай бұрын
All our machines are pull start. Maybe in the future we will offer electric start on our larger future models.
@cedaroakfarm85963 ай бұрын
Electric start is needed for us older guys, many veterans, that can’t pull a rope start. In rural Missouri we burn a lot of wood and are looking for the electric start from snow blowers to splitters. Thanks.
@cedaroakfarm85963 ай бұрын
@@SplitFireSalesInc let me know, there are very few out there and none with your features. When pulling becomes an issue the extra cost is expected for the ease of the benefit.

Hi Lucas. For some reason, the image quality was poor for the first 2 minutes. Then, it improved.
@PeeksPeakHobbyHomestead3 ай бұрын
Usually that is due to local internet buffering. I reviewed it on my end and it’s all clear. Thanks for the heads up though. 👊

Ok. I was wondering why Brock's footage was so sharp and, usually, the image quality of your videos is very good.

i really like that vertical splitter. sometimes i bring a load of rounds home and on rainy days, i just back up to the shop doors and split right out of the back of the truck. it appears that you could just roll the rounds from the truck right on to the table of that vertical splitter and not have to lift them or even roll them on to the log lift. nice machines
