How does one ever shake off the battery level anxiety with electric cars? I feel like it's all I would ever think about while driving, where is joy in that? Especially cause you can't just drop by any fuel station and fill up a minute, and if you run out you can't just call your friend to help you out with a fuel can... How do I ever even charge it if I live in a flat and park on the street?

the average eu driver drives about 30kms a day. with a range of 300km you only need to charge once a week and still come nowhere close to running out. if you can't charge at home or at work or at a shopping centre/grocery store, you'll have to drive to a public charger, including many petrol stations these days. just the same way you'd fill up a ICE car. You'd have to spend 20-30 minutes instead of the usual 10 but that difference is miniscule for once a week, and should not cause any anxiety. range anxiety is simply a misconception. there are a few valid reasons to buy ICEs still, but range is not one of them anymore (unless you live somewhere incredibly rural).
