Is it limited to about 200kph ? Really slows off after 170-180.

You need to chuck in the occasional oddball test Like a 0-100km/h in a Train, I did time 60 seconds but I feel it could be done a little quicker I didn’t get a 1/4 mile time But for your stats, info Kerb weight 171 ton (no pax) Power 1677kw Braking 160km/h - 0 932m

You get a bit better results if you have a higher charge level. 58-56% is a bit low to so acceleration test. ;)

That’s incorrect. We actually tested this at 20% as well and it scored very similar results. Slower times as the battery depletes is an older EV thing in our experience. With most of the latest stuff, the battery level doesn’t really impact 0-100 times. According to our Vbox tests anyway.

@@drivingenthusiastaustralia I though Polestar themself said this. Maybe it was only for the Performance upgrade? The limit for full power was 70%.

Straight line acceleration is just so damned overrated for the majority of EV’s. Give me an ICE with money spent on chassis and suspension dynamics every day!

0-100kmh / 0-60mph tests are so overrated in EVs. Just concentrate on making a better car. The Polestar 2 is awfully average in 2024.

The Performance is so slow for $80k. So glad the old looking design will be retired. Too bad there will be no Polestar 2 after 2026. Interior and tech are very dated.
