Once you move up to the HD Rams the Megacab comes into play. It adds another 16 inches to the cab length, but is only available with a 76 inch (6'4") bed. There are aftermarket companies that convert them to 8 foot bed.

If a TRX owner bought a second set of wheels and tyres for street driving & high tarmac performance, what tyres might best suit that purpose? Great review & awesome vehicle.

Great review! Thank you. I dare say the only reason why they didn’t allow any off-road is to keep the areas that are hard to clean, clean and also to reduce any potential for chips/scratches to the paint. If it was sold then legally they can’t let you sit in it, let alone test it…
@drivingenthusiastaustraliaАй бұрын
Good point. I think it must be the first reason you mentioned - maybe they are about to put it up for sale.
@marcusgeorge1825Ай бұрын
@ It’s just one reason why in the motorbike industry people will advertise a second hand bike that hasn’t been ridden in the rain. Simply due to the same reason. A lot of people question this as if it’s never been washed. When in truth it’s due to not being able to clean all road grime that comes from a wet road.

Very big engine dodge ram is very strong torque it's the American Mitsubishi company alliance
@rich7447Ай бұрын
This isn't the torquiest Ram in the lineup. The 2500/3500 HOs have an additional 425 lb ft/575 nm of torque. They haven't made a Dodge Ram since the 2009 model year. Everything from 2010 on is just Ram.

523kW but weighs 3 tonnes and hogs 2 lanes is basically the same as a 200kW hot hatch in terms of performance.
@rich7447Ай бұрын
It's not designed for speed on paved roads. The TRX and Raptor are both designed as pre-runners. The hatchbacks don't do so well doing 100mph across the desert.

I always wonder what people who buy these vehicles in Australia are compensating for? Totally socially and environmentally inappropriate. They are dangerous to all other road users with their weight, size, and poor braking performance.
@ashcosmo3854Ай бұрын
Do you have any evidence to provide that bigger cars means people are compensating ? Or is that your only emotional based opinion to feel better about driving a pathetic car yourself ? Socially inappropriate ? To who ? People called Fred who cries about supercharged utes to make himself feel better about driving a POS car ?
@fred3527Ай бұрын
@ashcosmo3854 Yes, Physiology 101, 201, 301, and beyond. When you feel small, powerless, and unseen, then you compensate by driving something big and powerful. That's all good and well, and I fully endorse trying to increase your power, but find a way that doesn't endanger other road users and consume more than your fair share of the earths scarce resources. It's narcissism at its worst, and yes, it's also well documented.

Top 10 mortal crashes include sedans only, with Tesla at 6th place, but 0 pickups. What does it mean? What they compensate for mr.psychologist? ;))
@fred3527Ай бұрын
@Drwalu-e5j That is blatantly untrue. Data from the USA shows that the majority of road fatalities are large utes hitting small cars and pedestrians. Look at websites like IIHS. "Trends. A total of 4,764 people died in large truck crashes in 2022. Seventeen percent of these deaths". were truck occupants, 66% were occupants of cars and other passenger vehicles, and 16% were pedestrians, bicyclists or motorcyclists." Driving a large UTE is like looking for a man slaughter charge.
@ashcosmo3854Ай бұрын
@@fred3527 Can you provide the sources of those study claims ? So by your logic everyone who loves going camping etc are just narcissists ? There is absolutely ZERO credible data to suggest that driving bigger cars is to compensate for feeling inadequate. If what you're saying is true then the opposite can also be true, people who drive small cars are weaker more feminine men. That argument can easily be as credible as yours.
