Is there always snow in the mountains that time of year?

No, but I've only run it once. You want it cold at the start because otherwise the end will be way too hot. My friend ran it one year and DNF because it was too hot. That was her only DNF. The previous time she ran it, the conditions were like when I did it: cold at the start and still a bit too warm at the finish, because of the full sun.

Great Job! What was the temp at the starting line?

Cold!!! There was snow on the ground. 20ish degrees at the start. They have some heaters, that people were huddled around. The road was icy at first. The first mile I was being really careful. It heats up fast though. I thought I was going to shed layers at mile 5 but they were gone by 3. I overdressed. Your heart rate gets higher at altitude (well, mine does), plus you're flying down the mountain.

Hi, it looks amazing! congrats!... One question, are there some hydration stations along the way? just asking because i didn't see any on the video, again congrats!!

Yes, there were multiple hydration stops. I didn't stop at any of them because I had the hydration vest and handheld. There were plenty of them; I just prefer to have it on me.
