I got a 2013 FR-S in med school, then got a 2022 GR86 base in neptune blue in 2022, selling the FR-S soon after. Love the platform. Never had a BRZ though

Looking at the Subaru website rn, and it's showing the ts is only $2,650 more than the limited. I think it's worth it for good brakes and suspension. These are expnsive aftermarket. Some things to consider: 1. Aftermarket parts do not increase the resale value of your car at all. But oem parts depreciate over time with the rest of the car, meaning you will recoup some of that cost when you sell it. 2. When negotiating the price of the car with the salesman, you will likely be able to convince them to charge you something less that $2,650 for the upgrade to ts.

Shocks and brakes are wear items. The BRZ tS is what I would consider a lease special.

Not worth it. Buy the base model then put actual performance exhaust and wheels/ tires on it. UEL headers and supercharger if you wanna get serious.
