Yeah it was still close, for some reason they award the back more then the front which in my opinion is wrong. I mean a strong back is what men traditionally would always want for physical work and such but abs pecs wide shoulders is definitely a look that everyone also wants

even then its not like jon was dominating foda in the back. imo jon was just a little better and they still gave him the win even though he got destroyed in the front poses

@@waltbertJon clearly won back by more than mo won front. You need to go to the show or at least watch the full livestream. Jon was razor peeled and won side poses and even ab and thigh and most muscular. Judges gave him the sweep. It wasn’t close. Mo in the front had by the better abdominal separation. Casuals always look at the beach muscles. This isn’t men’s physique it’s open bodybuilding. Balance, size, completeness and condition matter

I think you're spot on. I watched the judging and finals and thought to myself there is no way in hell. I had more winning six of the poses not for 4. I don't know why you said that about his last spread because if you go back in that little segment and watch that lat spread. I like his last spread and his waist looks tiny and his back looks wide and Dylan Rosa looks fat. Nobody says anything about how wide John de la Rosa's waste is and how weird his quads are. Nick's legs are much better than John's and Nick is 40 lb bigger. Hunter is bigger everywhere but let's see about the conditioning. Good I except I don't agree with you on the lat spread and I also think Moe won the side chest. They had to get John in the Olympia somehow. Unfortunately Connor we've seen that many times this year

The judges are building an Olympia lineup, Foda was already qualified so in a close competition they could lean toward De La Rosa.

@@goatfitness Bodybuilding is enough of a niche type of sport where additional competitors are not a bad thing, as it draws more spectators even if they place out of contention. These athletes have family and friends who will show up to support them...more spectators, more excitement and more revenues.

I gave Mo only the front lat and front double bi. And both of those not by as much as I have Jon the back poses. Jon won side poses, and I had him in about and thigh bc his condition was that much better and most muscular. Mo needs a lot of work on his back and his condition needs to improve. I also thought mos chest wasn’t as thick or detailed. He is young, plenty of time. Jon deserved this but all the eastern fans and casuals will jump on robbery train

The biggest problem with Foda is he has no balance in his physique . Everything from the back is bad and seems weak . It’s vey obvious and a big gap between his front and back . His front is massive which makes the difference worse . It was close but I can see why Jon won .

@@ramonsapiens I do agree with you . For me it came down to balance . Jon’s physique simply wash more balances with fewer flaws. His weakness gaps were not so wide and he out conditioned Mo by quite a bit in prejudging . I felt it was realistic we could see Jordan leap frog Mo if Mo was not improved at the finals.
