Le problème quand on a un très bon pilote au volant qui connait parfaitement un circuit, comme c'est le cas ici, est que l'on ne sait plus vraiment à la fin si ce que l'on voit et on peut imaginer sur la voiture testée, est dû majoritairement aux qualités de la dite voiture ou à celles du pilote au volant. 😛

nice video and driving! looks like mk2 is quite comfortable on track conditions, turn in appears to be better than with mk1. also how it goes in high revs btw 6-7krpm seems to be improved.

@Racingwespe Not sure if we watched the same video but definitely NOT smoother, sorry, Misha doesn't drift into corners sliding all 4 wheels loosing time - that's not smooth, that's slow actually. I bet Misha could teach him a lesson or two on how to do a faster lap on the Ring, he has at least 7-8 thousand laps on the Ring by now. But it did look great to see some drifting in the corners, props for that - he definitely had his fun. 👍

Thanks ! Too much pressure on the front in this lap : 2.8 bar (hot). It's better not to exceed 2.5

L’intérieur de la phase 1 n'était pas très joli à mon goût, mais alors là je le trouve absolument immonde...cette espèce de tableau de bord tout rectangulaire, on dirait que c'est mis là avec de la colle. Mais sinon comme d'hab, c'est un plaisir de vous regarder :)

I couldn't imagine how to drive my GR Yaris like having soap on the rear wheels ... how do you do that? It provides sooo much grip and after some realignement it provides even more, so that you can rely on the car not to turn around. Watching this it looks like the car wants to drift all the time. Seems to be a complete different setup 😀

The car seems more playful and more prone to oversteer than the pre-facelift. Do you agree? Do you like that the Track mode varies between 60:40 and 30:70? I imagine it would be a bit more unpredictable than a fixed 50:50... But it looks like I'm wrong.

Nice driving. Eager to see what the auto is like in the Corolla for the states. Does the car let you hold the gear in manual mode and bounce off rev limiter or does it shift automatically?

It seems quite a bit faster in the uphil section, i guess because of the new (and more) gearing + increased power.

It's the opposite 😅 Fifth gear is shorter, so the sixth comes earlier and it's more difficult for the engine to "drive" this one

Did you run any laps where the transmission did all the shifting? What did you think of it?

Yes. In Sport mode, on the brakes, early downshifts are perfect. But sometimes, when you don't go full throttle (let's say 90-95% if you "hesitate" a little bit), the gearbox shifts to the next gear too early and you end up at too low engine speed.

Les pneus il les defonce pour rien à chaque courbe , et il crois aller vite en driftant une 4rm … en réalité il perd beaucoup de temps et sature complément les pneumatique . Le reste est ok 👍
